How many CF parks are of a size to warrent the cost of a B and M?
It seems that only three have a large enough base to do so, and three of them have Beemer's. The third Knott's has been getting plenty of other things lately.
BTW I don't think anyone complains about Batman:TR. I still dare people to find a ride as intense as Batman.

This is fun, let's see how many clever names we can come up with for B&M. I'll list a few: brusque & muddled, brilliant & mystical, barren & militant, bountiful & monotonous, brittle & meticulous.
Oh man, i got my jollies for the night.
Besides the fact that the entire CF chain seems to go for coasters of the non looping variety of which B and M is the main player.

Worlds of Fun is more deserving, but that's probably just me ;-)
Maybe its because intamin is making what CF needs to hold those records?
If CF was to contact B&M to design a 400+ ft coaster, it would cost a fortune. Most likely double what it is costing for Dragster.
Parks obviously plan years and years ahead. Although there hasnt been any B&M's recently, its very likely they have one planned for years to come. Just be patient.

Perhaps Cedar Fair has been *happy* with what they've gotten from Intamin....just a thought...;) A good relationship that seems to be working well for CF *and* for Intamin...perhaps they're getting good prices by *buying in bulk*....
bill, still a little surprised the relationship is still so good after the PP incident...
If WOF got a $14 million coaster with 900,000 folks attending a year, they'd see their next major coaster in about 3010. Okay, I'm exaggerating--but only a little. It would take an awful long time to pay off.
I don't see why they don't just pull a VF and hold on to their capital budget for a couple years. Remember all the 'poor overlooked VF' posts? You don't hear so much from those folks these days. It was more than worth it.
Besides, there's B&Ms all over Missouri already--so would it really bring people running? There's a lot of things you could do with less money. As much as a fan I am of B&M steel, I'm ready for VF to drop in an Invertigo to represent the inverted loopers and move on to something else.

What is this? A Buy one Intamin coaster, get the 2nd half off thing? there is probobly no way that intamin is giving CF some deal!

Dorney, Cedar Point, what is the third now? I'm having a brain fart.
Whoops
Meant two not three. My Brain Fart.
The third Knott's could easily warrant one.
