Cedar Fair and B&Ms

Is it just me or has Cedar Fair gotten no B&M coasters on the last 3-4 yrs besides Talon? I think it is kind of weird because B&M coasters are pretty popular with the public, Hopefully next year a Cedar Fair park will get a B&M. does anyone have any reasons as to why havent gotten any B&Ms latley besides Talon?

Cedar Fair hasen't boughten an Arrow since 1999. I'd rather see a new Arrow before a Boring & Meaningless.
Boring and Meaningless....Glad I ride coasters for fun not to critisize them. I know many that would say Brilliant and Monsterous!
Boring and Meaningless?!! I love B&M! They are my favorite coaster designers! I admit they sometimes seem to follow a generic design but overall they are easily my favorite coaster designer. They make some of the best hypers around (rivaled only by Intamin as far as what I've found the funnest) and ever since their revoloutionary inverted and steel twister ideas people haven't looked at roller coasters the same way! Arrow, although a good company, have made tons of coasters I find are not fun and sometimes even painful. Ive never heard of B&M making one design a good number of people dont like, so I think you should just keep your mouth shut when talking to them because either a) you just have'nt ridden them enough or b) almost everybody else does like them and finds them very meaningful. It's because of B&M I found out how much I like coasters. Maybe you should ride some of theirs again, it's not their fault nobody wants original designs anymore (as I'm hoping Batman: The Ride is what your basing your opinions on).

They only have three b and m's alltogether. What's your point?

How many Morgans and Intamins do they have compared to other park chains?

Saying that Cedar Fair haven't gotten any B&M's recently besides Talon is like saying they haven't gotten any Intamin's recently except for Millennium Force, Wicked Twister, Xcelerator, Steel Venom and #16. What's the deal? They haven't gotten any Intamin's recently?!?

So what if the best coaster in Australia is a second hand Arrow?

That's what I was thinking!

haha, I got so angry I went off topic, I meant B&M's in general! Cedar Fair has some of the best one's though! All I need to do now is ride that Talon!
I think Cedar Fair should get a new B&M, even though they haven't gotten new Arrow's, Giovonolla's, Vekoma's( thank God they haven't gotten one of those recently!) and any of those other designers as well recently. Personally I think they should get any coaster with a B&M or Intamin logo on it though.
Intamin also built Perilous Plunge for Cedar Fair.

I am well aware that CF has only 3 B&Ms, but they got a couple of those when B&M were starting to revolutionize to coaster world! Now that they have become more popular, CF has only been smart enough to get Talon.

I guess Millenium Force, Xcelerator, Wicked twsiter, Steel Venom, and the Morgan Hypers were all pretty dumb?

Generic design? Like what?

He Means like Batman:the Ride ( i think ), because there are many clones of them.

Wrong. He means the follow a general pattern (loop, twist, cobra roll, corkscrews). That's how a lot of people see B&Ms.

Not me.

TOGO!

It seems a little strange to me too. Why does Cedar Fair have such a low number of B&Ms? Especially if you consider how popular beemers have been over the past several years.

sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't

Thats Exactally what I mean, jdancisin! B&M are very popular now, and not many are popping up at CF parks, it is a bit strange.
What I mean is all of their designs seem to use the same inversions in roughly the same order, for instance most of their coasters that contain inversions dive straight into a vertical loop at the beginning, a lot of them do twin corkscrews, all their stand ups have dive loops, all of their stand ups have inclined loops, all of their stand ups have corkscrews. You get the idea, they use a lot of the same things in the same order, not all the time but quite a bit. However, did you ask if I care? NO! I love their designs and I do admit their is some uniqueness to each layout (not including their highly over used Batman coasters, Orochi and to some extent Chang). So, as you can see B&M pretty much follow the same formula unless they use their minds and come up with a new inversion for that coaster. Of course, to this day I still can't find one I don't like.
