The construction is still directly behind Sledhammer/Orbiter, but now moving east towards the waterpark.

IMO.
Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
I've never been to the park and I'm totally unfamiliar with the layout but I'm always interested to see where rides are going relative to the rest of the existing property.
Wish I could get a little more zoom, like I can on Google-maps (but without the link-ability). Meh.

That's the (Giant?) Enterprise, Orbiter, in the middle of your screen. Lower, between the helix of the woodie Spinebuster and the water sits IJ. Sledgehammer is that *incredible* Huss Jump2, tall with "gangly" arms. The steel coaster opposite Spinebuster (about 140* on the "other side" of the waterpark rides) sits the Togo stand-up.
My initial guess is the lifthill will go adjacent to Sledgehammer...*Guess* I said! IMO... ;)

The placement markers also have links to photos in them. *** Edited 6/30/2007 2:05:58 AM UTC by PCW_Josh*** *** Edited 6/30/2007 2:06:38 AM UTC by PCW_Josh***
Also, CW Mania put together this map outlining where the survey stakes had been placed. Look at CW Mania's post in the link below, from June 22 at 5:01pm.

PCWCoasterBoy said:Quick note, the Yahoo! Map that was posted above is quite old, and doesn't show Italian Job. The second Google map is much more accurate.
That's *another* reason I mentioned that I preferred the Googlemap, LOL - more detail AND more up-to-date. I couldn't get the extended URL to show in my address bar, for whatever reason - guess I need to learn how to use Googlemaps like everyone else seems to be able to do... ;)
If this park could get its wood in shape *and* add a forceful B&M hyper (just duplicate the "mistakes" from SFoG's, hehe), it would be near-perfect. In a couple years, even WITH the space considerations, I could even see this park pushing, maybe extending, the attendance limit for seasonal parks...

It was just a guess, and now going off of where some land clearing is going it looks like I was off.
Mike
Land clearing continues behind Italian Job and Minebuster. Footers have been poured in the proposed station area behind Sledgehammer, and dozens of shipping containers have started to pile up behind Kingswood.

NOTE: The footers are round, not square, so for now, rule out B and M.

Which is just one of many references I could make.
Footers do not make the coaster.
If you see a metal pieces sticking out of the footer like the ones in this picture of "The Flying Turns" you could make an educated guess that it will be wooden.

If those cargo containers do indeed contain coaster track, then that tells me it's possibly being shipped from overseas.
Doesn't Intamin ship from Europe using cargo containers? Seems like Wicked Twister arrived at CP in them. Then again, Maverick didn't, or did it?
Who knows... just a thought.

I think B&M typically ships in North America using flatbed trucks traveling from the steel manufacturing plant they use located in Batavia Ohio.
I've seen those trucks shipping track for Kraken and then recently for the coaster at Hard Rock.
The difference is those rides were public knowledge before anybody spotted track on the highway, I think in this case it's a matter of timing. As in...when the announcement is, when you need what parts on site at what time, and how long you need to keep what parts undercover to make a decent announcement.
So....in other words I don't know anything! lol

Maverick did arrive in containers. That's not to say there's something else in those containers besides track though. It could really be anything.
