If you are driving, you do not need a passport, but you will need a government-issued ID with a photo (driver's license will do) and some form of additional identification. The government suggests a certified birth certificate. It's probably no coincidence those are the same two pieces of ID you need to apply for a passport.

That is only half right. You do need a "government-issued ID" such as a drivers license... but that is all you need. I was just in Canada, and they only require a license either entering Canada or returning to the USA.
You won't see me coming...
Hopefully CW Mania doesn't mind I link this, but in this set of Photos you'll see the early signs of construction beginning at Wonderland. It's very exciting.
For those who haven't visited the park, the stakes are visible all over the area directly behind Orbiter, between Sledgehammer and Minebuster. Some may remember that was the location Paramount had originally planned to move Flight of Fear to.
Enjoy!

And Dominator isn't going anywhere, there's no good reason to take that ride outta Geauga Lake. Even if the park slims down it does need a modern steel coaster to headline the package, and that's the best one they've got and it's in a good central location. If they're still looking to cut back on the expanse of operations and the electric bill, next smartest thing to come out should be Headspin.
Jason, I heard long ago that B&M did enter a bid on Millennium Force, after their initial resistance to a 300-footer. But it was something like $50 million - almost as if they didn't want to get it.

added to B&M selling an alternate Mantis design to Kentucky Kingdom a year later, there'd be no more B&Ms at CF parks.

I hope its something I can re-ride so I can become one of those dopes that rides a coaster like 5000 times. A really good hyper like Nitro or a really good floorless like Dominator would be great. No 1 trick ponys.
Whatever they decide to go with, it better be a people eater(Unless it's sub par like most of the coasters presently at the park). With the lackluster line up of coasters they currently have, this new coaster if exciting will attract EVERYONE that visits the park.

There's a large trailer set up behind The Orbiter with the sign "site office" on the door. A ride employee verified that they're building a coaster for next year but didn't know what it was going to be.

And Intamin? Need I elaborate? After the last seven years of drama from them, there stands Maverick running like a Swiss watch (knock wood).
Well, a Swiss watch that had to have its heartline yanked out, anyway . . .

I gotta make it out to PCW soon. I gotta get my IJ credit and see this construction.

^Wouldn't be a B&M.What are Raptor and Mantis?
I don't remember the exact quote so someone correct me if I'm wrong. At the CoasterMania Q&A, Dick said they have gone with Intamin for the past few projects, because B&M tend not to want to build coasters with custom layouts. I think they definatly strayed from that thinking with Tatsu. I'm interested to see what B&M turns out in the next few years. *** Edited 6/17/2007 5:04:23 PM UTC by Jason Hammond***
Notice how I said that CF prefers Intamin & Chance Morgan for their hyper coaster projects?
Sure CF has done good business with B&M in the past for stand ups & inverts but Intamin & Chance Morgan have always been their preferred manufacturer when it comes to hypers.

When has Intamin built a hyper for CF. They have built Giga, rocket, impulse, and terra coasters but no hypers. *** Edited 6/27/2007 11:51:14 PM UTC by Coasterkid200***
Timbers crew 08
Anyway basing all of this speculation on past projects probably won't work very well, the last hyper Morgan built for CF was nearly 10 years ago, wasn't it?
