I don't think Hershey even enters into their thinking. Most locals to BGW have never even considered going to HersheyPark, and at the very least have never heard of StormRunner. Hershey doesn't 'do' central/Southern Virginia.

Well, LNM is a multi-looper in the sense that it has two loops. Maybe I should have used "multi-inversion" or "multi-element" coaster?
Sure Alpengeist is there, but it's an invert. Totally different ride experience, IMHO.
Not saying that's what they need. I'd like to see wood as much as any of you. Just thinking as realistically as I can.
I guess a Dive Machine could make as much sense as long as you work on the assumption of a 'BGT just did one' connection and admittedly, the BGW terrain offers lots of possibility.
I just don't think you'd see anything too (for lack of a better term) 'gimmicky' at BGW.
And if it were my park, I'd keep the coasters spread. Maybe a slight reworking of the area where DF used to be making it more accessable.
Just random thoughts and ideas. :)

LOL, all that terrain means that BGW has options out the wazoo....(can I say wazoo on here?)... :)
Personally, I think BGW has fantastic coasters save for the obvious lack of wood....but they're also lacking flat rides...
OTOH, since BGW already HAS two of the finest Arrows in existence, maybe they can get a clone of Tennessee Tornado...;)
But, as their coasters are "park enhancers" rather than the new ride being the sole draw to the park (see many "other" parks) the floorless thought might be just as successful. None of the immediate "competition" has one, and lets face it, they're really not competing with SFGAd. Different market, different demographic.
Also, if they could pull a wooden coaster off, kudos to them, I just don't see it happening. :)
Kyle Says: Diamondback was a lot of fun! Made his first time at Kings Island worth it all!
As far as the Drachen Fire site, I think they could put a new coaster there since they used to have a different one there, it's not as though it's a new area of the park that no one has heard of. I think they would have to open up the entrance of it a bit so that people could find it easily, but that would be tough due to the layout of the Wolf.
I thought of a dive machine, that would be a great idea, but I don't think they'd build a floorless. Parks that set out to build a lot of coasters (like SFGAdv and SFMM) can get away with a floorless and an invert in the same park but I think BGW would go for more diversity. A dive machine with an overbanked turn over the Rhine River would be a fun ride or, if they want to use Drachen Fire's site and keep with the German dragon theme, maybe a B&M flyer with a dive over the river.
I'm not sure what their height restriction is or even if they have one but Alpengeist's lift is 195 feet tall so, even if they're limited by that, they still have a lot of options.
I agree that they should have built a new coaster at BGW since it's been six years, but more than likely BGT got Wilde Maus and SheiKra to draw crowds from the Orlando parks. I think DarKastle kinda says "we have to send money to Tampa so we can't build a coaster in Williamsburg this year, but here's something cool that would fit where the Maus used to be."
You know, we just might have been discussing that in the previous posts...you might want to read them!!
