The coasters that alter the position of your body seem to have limited popularity in the long run/big picture. I mean, how many standups do you see being built now?

Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
Also, unlike the Reverchons, it wouldn't run the risk of being viewed as "just like Wilde Maus only with spinny cars"..;)

Quantity does NOT equal quality. PKD may have more rides but BGW offers a more satisfying experience. Each park's annual attendence also shows that people prefer BGW.
Three cheers for Youngstud!:)

I can't believe the stupidity that has invaded Coasterbuzz lately.
This could stand to be repeated. I too am in shock at just how smart I feel reading some of these new threads...

NOTE: Severe fecal impaction may render the above words highly debatable.

The only reason that BGW may have a slightly higher attendance each year is because BGW is open more days than PKD. About a good 2-3 weeks, always in early May. Any way, you can do everything at BGW in a couple of hours and leave and head to the beach for some real fun, but with PKD, you need at least 2 full days to enjoy the entire park!
Wow! It takes you 2 full days to enjoy Kings Dominion and only one to do BGW? Sounds like from operations stand point BGW is better since you are able to get into the park and ride all of the rides in a couple of hours. However, operations at PKD must really suck bad if it takes you 2 full days to cover the park.
A day at the park is what you make it!
