Peabody, I agree 100% about wood at BGW. I would love to see one there, but in the end, would they take care of it?
What about another Sheikra style coaster? Maybe not because they already have a hyper.
BGW is cool whatever they do.
Kyle Says: Diamondback was a lot of fun! Made his first time at Kings Island worth it all!
I wouldn't mind seeing a nicely themed drop, a la the one at Terra Mitica. Another dark ride would be an enhancement, but, then, you can never have enough dark rides.
I just really need to get there period.
I'd love to see a beastlike woodie. Maybe they could use Plug 'n' Play. Wouldn't that be easier to take care of?
A small launch like Storm Runner would fit in well. Those small launchers are so much fun.
Dexter, while I admit that a SR like coaster would be amazing, I have to wonder if they would want something different because of Hershey so near. The biggest "unique" type might just be a dive machine. No one but the sister park has one in the hemisphere.
And since the Floorless has become the standard B&M sitdown design, it just spells itself out. ;)
How about a Drop machine that loads in Italy (entrance between the garden of invention and San Marco?) and plunges into the "River" (Cough **lake** cough) across from BBW, twisting back towards Apollo's Chariot's turnaroud. Imagine if it did a barrel roll over the train tracks!
This would be a good solution, as its lift wouldn't need to be very high to get a good drop, plus it would get another major ride in the front half of the park.
Personally, even though Darkastle looks cool, I have to wonder if it was the best way to spend that much money. I think it'll help this year's attendance, but it doesn't seem like it'll support folks coming back again and again the way that Alpie and Apollo do. It's been 6 years since they added a coaster, and in that gap they've lost 2. Time for a new one, Darkastle or not. *** Edited 6/6/2005 6:36:20 PM UTC by ThemeDesigner***
