1) Big 10 is #1.  'Nuff said

You're right.  You're a moron.  Bill (rollergator), get him.

Dear Buzzo

I was looking at your track record, and wondered where did you stay in Germany, and which airport did you fly into, when visiting EX GE Force?

Either way make sure its on a coaster

The reason I went to Germany was to visit a friend that lives outside of Munich. We flew into the airport in Munich. Since Expedition Ge Force was the German coaster that I wanted to ride the most, I made it a point to get my friend to take me to Holiday Park. We took a train to Hassloch and stayed overnight in a bed and breakfast about a mile from the park. They had a shuttle bus that transported guests to the park.  Since the people in Germany drive somewhat faster than the people in America, the shuttle bus was almost as thrilling as Expedition Ge Force. :)

Aww now. Lest you forget the San Antonio trip. 85 mph through a median and then busting up traffic, now that's what I call thrilling. lol

What is life without ups and downs!?!?

No, I would'nt call that thrilling. That was terrifying. Even the German boy was scared. :)
"I am certain you guys will like this. You will be very happy"!

This is a quote from 'someone at B&M' regarding the new ride, told to myself and a couple of others last week. Take that for what it is worth, but the bottom line is, whatever 'it' is, I am sure there are going to be many of us that will love it.

Sean F.

Didn't you guys hear?

It's going to be the world's biggest Wild Mouse coaster!

DUH!

I say there is rouhgly an 80% chance it is a hyper and about 15% chance it is a flying coaster. That leaves 5% for whatever. The reason I say this is look at when Iron Wolf and Batman first opened. It took a couple of years for that to catch on. And since the flying is new to B&M I don't think we'll see another one this year. And if there is a height restriction there is always ways to get around it. Like it can go up 150 ft and still drop 220, they'll just have to make it go under the ground 70 some ft. What would be cool is if they used the Incredible Hulk launch but instead of an inversion after the launch make it dive down giving some great airtime.
Did you pull those stats from your butt?
Probably, because they stink.  Rumors?  He's probably just made them up as what he'd like to see vs. what's actually going to be.  Look at the initial construction shots - it's not a big area, basically a square.  A compact layout which is way to small to contain something to much taller than 100'.

And, worse yet, he'll be one of the first to whine about what comes because it's not tall, long or whatever.

Deal with it.  There will be three B&M original  designs out there next year;  AT, SFNE & SFOG.  And two of those will have unique riding vehicles.

Coasterkid: your percentages are WAY off.  Everything I've been told indicates there is a 100% of a flyer and a 0% chance of a hyper.  But then I've been saying that since August and there are still people who don't believe me.  Of course that could be a result of my insisting SFMM would NOT get three coaster for 2001....D'oh!  LOL!

Don't cry cus you're "only" getting a flyer. Hell, you could get a Twisted Wicker...er...Wicked Twister!!

So what do you think that "world's first" type of an inversion will be?
AHHHHHHHHH.......Look at that!  I think "laying down" style gives it away.  Ya know?

My prediction:  think of a loop, then turn it upside down.  Enter at the top in flying position, drop down to laying position at the bottom, climb back up and exit at the top in flying position again.

But then I could be wrong.

maybe, mamoosh but a upside down loop would pull an incredible amount of G's. I was thinking that the inversion could be a cobra roll with zero - g in between it.:) You never know though.

Thanks, Homey G., I'm on it....  staticman00, Big 10 has way too much academics, not nearly enough players, to compete with the SEC.  I will only accept applications from the Big 12 to be considered for the position...you are correct however on Notre Dame (#3), and college football (#4) as well.  And as for any coaster replacing a most-beloved Schwarzkopf, that "world's first" inversion better be good, LOL.  Seriously, it would be really cool if we could pull a zero-g roll in the very top of the tophat, no?

Damnit...until now I was in denial...but it seems like it is indeed a flyer. I am seething with envy :)

The Yankees are still #1

Hmmm, I wonder where rcdb got their info. I'm sure its legit, they wouldn't post something that wasn't verified. I'm anxious for the announcement now. Some people laughed at SFoG for touting last year as the 'breakthrough year.' Looks like that wasn't just marketing, it looks like this park is certainly headed in the right direction.

And just to irritate the ones talking about college football.....ROLL TIDE!!!

Okay, okay, so we aren't having a superb year, but we did win at Auburn so things are looking up. Expect to see the Tide to rise again under Coach Fran.

Good luck to the Gators if they make it to the Rose Bowl, make the SEC proud and verify that we are the strongest conference! (Imagine a Bama fan saying that. ;) )
