B&M parts at SFOG!

Can someone tell me when we will know what type of coaster it is?
Its a flyer.  But if you are looking for the "official" annoucement, I think I heard Jan.  Or sometime early in 2002.
This should help Lord Gonchar.  It's like 2 raven turns, one right after the next.  I was thinking the same thing in school a couple of days ago.

Have we become the topic with the most replies? it was 223 last time i checked. Anyways did everyone see Air's train, It looks preety flimsy with those little restraints.  Here's the link for the trains:  http://www.ttxtra.com/air/closedseason.htm  and here's the link for the artist's impression: http://www.ttxtra.com/air/august01big.jpg  Use it for comparison.
Those probably aren't the complete trains.  Not everything is preassambled.  B&M restraints are thin like that, but then the outer padding we all are familiar with is added (and changed from time to time)   That is also not an acurate artists impression.  After all, what's supporting the people's legs?  This is what the trains should be like... http://www.angerwithin.co.uk/sw5/trainsketch.htm

btw I am talking about the 3rd picture on the right side of the page.
those pictures do look like it would be an awesome way to load into a train, i didnt know the track was going to be overhead. btw is that your site? if it is good job with those drawings/pictures.
I think it would really hurt in the standing/sitting position while leaving the station, it's like Stand-up position without the floor...owwwww

DDFire19, when the train leaves the station, you won't be standing up.  The seats will pull up and you will leave the station in the flying position.
It`s a B&M so you know it`s gonna be comfortable.

First off, spongebob said on the first page:  "I just couldn't see a B&M there"...  Georgia Scorcher and Batman: The Ride are B&M's at SFOG.    Okay, just to clear that up.

Anywho, I would love to see a B&M flying in the states, and I think it would be cool to see a superman flying at SFOG, however, if it were a B&M flying coaster, I'm pretty sure we would have heard something about it by now.  There would be more anticipation.  AIR is advertised as the first of its kind, a prototype.  I highly doubt that the same year, with under 3 or 4 months of anticipation, we'd see a B&M Flying coaster.  I'm not saying it's impossible, but I wouldn't count on it being a flyer.

I'm not sure if a hyper would fit in the space, but that would be my guess.  The whole scenario seems alot like Nitro's last year.  Track started showing up, and before you know it, it's built and then announced.   Now like I said, I'm not a coaster wizard, and I don't know everything, I am just saying what looks likely and not likely.

Actually, I have been on Acro, I have/had a season pass there this year, I've done it 8 times.  Yeah it hurts, and no, the seats tilt on the lift hill, that's why AIR has those funky supports.  Yes, I know this isn't AIR, but I'm sure B&M wouldn't variate from it too much.  Plus, it adds more PPH when tilting on the lift hill instead of the station.

I got a question for those that have been on Acrophobia. How does it compare to other freefalls?

"The Ozzman Cometh"
It's incredible.  It's the SCARIEST ride in the world the very first time, but after about 5, it's starts to get funny because you see people that are in the same shoes you were when you first started.  It's quite an experience.

What I meant was that AT THE TIME I could not see a B&M coaster in that particular spot and I DO know that they DO have B&Ms at that park.  Now since B&M said it was them I know its a B&M and I think it is going ot be a flying

The seats will probably tilt up in the station.  why would they retract on the lift?
Sorry bout that, spongebob.  I misunderstood you.

Because it adds more PPH, those restraints are really confusing, it'll probably get the same loading time as a launched kind of coaster if it tilts in the station.  AIR tilts on the lift hill, that's why it has those funky supports on the top.  All of Vekoma's were supposed to tilt on the lift hill, but they malfunction all the time and they just do it in the station and it reduces the PPH significantly.

What the hell is PPH?

What is up with six flags they asked the person that was posting pictures of the flyer (maybe, hopefully) contruction online to take them off,  It makes me wonder why they are keeping this such a secret (flyer) bc they did not ask to take pictures offline when DejaVu and Acrophobia came out with the construction pics.
