Where on Darien Lake's lot were the pieces? From the pictures, it just looks like in some lot near some residental rural houses.
It's doubtful it'll be ready for 2006 just because of the time it takes to clear the land, lay the footers & construct the coaster. Not to mention the town-of-Darien has to approve this as well (as if it'd be rejected... they're all probably saying "finally").
Will the same trains ship, or will Six Flags invest in new ones? Ashame if it's going to be the same bumpy ride that everyone says it is.
Sure'd be nice if they swapped floorless trains instead! :) ;)

Hope all you SFDLians enjoy one of the most boring stand-ups ever! ;)
It's a coaster. We're desperate. It'll do.

Preditor would rock with some decent trains but we marathoned the boomerang.
Chuck, who thought Preditor was neat about 6 or ten rides. The other four were plain painful.
or Shock/Wave ;)
Count me with the reporter who commented on Superman, "We got rid of Shockwave for this?" Also SFGAM's skyline suffers greatly from it's loss.
All these ride relocations though don't meet the m.o. of the new management team. Except for the Shoot-the-Chutes in storage at Great Escape, they're all rides (Serial Thriller, Ultra Twister, B:TE) which attract the undersirable-to-them teen demographic. I'm suprised that they didn't stop the construction of Acrophobia half-way through.
