I might have a hard time finding a solid color, non-logo shirt.
Dude? Name brand Hanes solid color t-shirts can be found at any store. Walmart has 'em for like five bucks. :D

Ok, I know y'all have been very concerned for me, so good news. I called KI today and sure enough, my email had bounced for some reason. (maybe I mistyped, wouldn't bee the furst tiem) Anyway, they looked me up and sent my email right away. So I'm in! Yay!
Shout out to Don, Sarah, and Paulette who were so nice in dealing with this silly, half hysterical enthusiast.
My renewed club card just arrived in the mail so one less thing to worry about. Now I'm just hoping for good weather.

Dang, soo close....... I mean, awesome news!
Aw, bless your heart...
Don't forget your gold bond powder this time.
:-)
For those who haven't met Gonch yet, he will probably sneak up on you or just appear out of thin air. A Gonch-by is fairly common. ;)
I got the email a few days ago and the motel is booked. I'll be there Thursday and Friday! I haven't been to the park since 2010 so it will be nice catching up a little.
I look forward to seeing old and new faces!

The 10 day forecast for Mason OH is currently predicting cloudy sky with only a 10% chance of rain. High temperature of 65 with a low of 44. I'm guessing 5:30 am temperature will be at or near the low.
Does not sound like too bad of coaster riding weather, though it could all change by next week.

Looks like I will be able to make it, thankfully!
Hoping for a good ride... B&M inverts are by far my favorite style of coaster. However, the design of Banshee does not impress me due to the very linear transitions between elements (no "snap" per-say). It looks like it will ride very much like a wing-coaster for example. Not a bad thing, as I love Gatekeeper and such... But not for an invert.
I also am bummed it lacks a flatspin (my favorite invert element), but I won't be bitter on that :)
I hope I am wrong though and ends up being more intense and out of control than I expect by looking at it. We will see soon!
The way that B-TR comes out of its second loop into that sharp turn or perhaps the way that Great Bear exits it's loop, does a quick kick to the side, then climbs into the immelmann. Ultimately, a sense of abrupt-ness to the maneuvers.
13 Boomerang, 9 SLC, and 8 B-TR clones
Yes, quick menuevers... The apex of the flatspins, g-rolls and quick transitions.
All of the inverts, even the "tame" Silver Bullet has tight, quick elements. I don't see any signs of that on Banshee, and not only because of its size... Alpengiest was fine for as big as it is.
Again, I hope I am completely wrong... And I am sure I will still enjoy it, no doubt! I am just being picky.
Crap.
Everything is falling in place in a way (exactly the wrong way) that's looking like I'm not going to be able to make it next week.
Maybe I can sue Kings Island for not making media day available in a way to accomodate my personal needs?
Not sure if you guys are voting up because of the snarky lawsuit comment or because I'm probably not going to be there.
Definitely the lawsuit comment. I'm not going to be there, so I don't care whether you can make it or not.
That sounds insensitive. I do care that you won't be there. Because I won't be there...so the more people who can't make it, the better I feel.
Oh, crap. I'm a narcissistic a**hole.
Be sure to post some selfies of yourself doing something less important, Gonch.
