That's called being selfish.
Well it certainly sounds like you are. It seems like you have a hard time discussing SFA without mentioning how long its been since the park got a new coaster.
I'm not saying you can't say whatever you want...but at least be honest and admit that you're complaining. I complain about SFMM all the time ;)
SFA *has* the coasters it needs...just not the management team. Hmmmm, maybe your complaints ARE similar after all... ;)

I thought Carowinds would get the next IJ:ST too.
I know Stealth was moved to PCW last year, (Now named BORG) from PGA...a move I still don't understand, I would've thought one of these parks would get the next coaster in general for the chain.
It seems PCW & PGA are the most forgotten of the five parks. I could be mistaken, but it just seems that way when people have talked in the past.
Since the above statements, I checked RCDB and I guess what fueled my fire above was that as far as adult coasters are concerned, (in other words, no kiddie or family style coasters!), here's what they added at PCW & PGA:
Carowinds
Top Gun: The Jet Coaster - 1999
Vortex - 1992
Great America
Invertigo - 1998
Top Gun - 1993
Vortex - 1991
... I just wanted to clarify why I said what I said ealier. *** Edited 8/9/2005 7:36:44 PM UTC by Floorless Fan***
Honestly, ALL the parks in the chain are great IMO....cept for the one in NorCal. ;)

I have been to both PCW and PKI this year, and I rode both Italian Jobs. Both are similar, but have thier own uniqueness as far as proximity to other rides, landscaping etc.
I would wait and ride IJ at PKD (or wherever) too. So what if it is the same ride. At least it is an enjoyable "Clone."
Would you rather have Clones of a crappy hang or Bang or something?
Oh.. in case anyone is wondering... I did prefer IJ at PCW. Something about the open feeling (farther proximity to rides/Que Line/etc)of the ride compared to PKI made the difference for me. Sorry PKI

And much more importantly, how many of the general "average joe" parkgoer visit more than Paramount park a year?
Answer: very, very, very, very, very, very, very few.

You can have Hypersonic. I'll take Top Gun at PCar anyday.
No!
Iffin (if you need to ask, you don't need to know) I move to S.C., I may be further away from my #1 coaster, but I'll be closer to my #2 than I was my #1, and still the same from Top Gun. You can't have it.
I'm probably going to visit PKD for the first time next year. I won't ride IJ as it won't be any better than PKI's. So no, I won't ride it anyway. And, if I do go to PKD and PKI, I won't ride either IJ. Boring.

If you think is IJ is boring, I wonder if you are a true enthusiast, or one of those people who are only satisfied with the biggest and best. A true enthusiast enjoys every aspect of a coaster, even if it is not the tallest, fastest, steepest, or what have you.
It is statements like yours that separate the Enthusiasts from the Enthusiasses.

It's like a so called enthusiast refusing to ride a vekoma because they'd prefer a B&M or an Intamin instead.
