I'm not sure how for how long. But, Wildwater Kingdom is doing it for at least the 2nd year (I think 3rd) this year.

How about a launch/strata coaster about 360 ft then continue as a ride like diamondback

Or you will enjoy the fact that nobody reads your posts.

Not sure about what it will be, but don't care. Anything is an improvement over what was formerly there. Maybe they can tear down Top Deck Flight Gun and put in something there as well.

What? Tear down Flight Deck? That ride is awesome! It's one of my favorite rides art the park. The only bad thing about it is the secluded location, in my opinion.

It's location is much of the reason I like it. If it was out over a flat piece of land in the middle of the park, it wouldn't be as fun imo.

Eh. Vortex at Canada's Wonderland is only over terrain for a few brief portions, and that ride is just as good as its valley-running clone in Ohio. It's just a great layout.

Well, any coaster that runs over water and a mountain has to be fun. :-)

I may be in the minority but having rode both at KI and CW and just don't like it much. Iron Dragon is not that great either, but I tend to like the setting more or something. BBW and Ninja are the better two, with Ninja probably being my top choice... I did not expect the ride to be as good as it was. One of my favorite rides at SFMM when we went in January.

To summarize, I could do without Flight Deck, very easily... But it is a solid ride though and good for families. I see it sticking around a few more years, but not really long term.

I hate the name "Flight Deck" and the secluded walk back to get to it is ridiculous, but I absolutely love the ride. It's so fast and wild. It feels so out of control to me.
