Not sure if this is sad or not. I'm from Pittsburgh (almost 50 years) and I have no clue what "pizza fries" are.

I call it soda too, because of living in PA for so many years also.
Lately, I've been calling it "soda pop", because sometimes people down here don't know what I am talking about when I call it just "soda".

What I think is interesting is that although the big chain parks have mostly Coke (Disney, Universal, Six Flags, former Paramount parks), I think there are probably more Pepsi parks in the US than Coke due to almost all of the small parks having Pepsi.
Pepsi parks -
legacy CF parks
Knoebels
Hershey
Waldameer
Kennywood/Idlewild
Holiday World
DelGrosso's
Busch Gardens/Sea World
Seabreeze
I'm sure there are more but the only small independently run parks that I can think of that have Coke are Indiana Beach and Lakemont.
Due to my unhealthy addiction to Mountain Dew, I personally think that is a great thing. :) Although when I go down to Disney in May for the Flower & Garden Festival, I will be drinking lots of Sprite out of the tap. My soda habits are so weird that I prefer to drink Mountain Dew out of a bottle and Sprite/Sierra Mist out of a tap. ;)
I'm the opposite of Gator. When we were in Florida I was of course stuck with Coke most of the time. When we went to BGT, I got the biggest fountain Pepsi possible. It was unimaginably good.
All the Palace Entertainment FEC's, waterparks and regular parks have Coke, except for the ones still contracted with Pepsi under Kennywood's ownership. Story Land has already switched to Coke as their contract wasn't as long.
Hi
So Coke may (eventually) be coming to Kennywood? Yet another reason to like that place! :)

I have never found them in Pittsburgh or anywhere else for that matter. I think that's strictly a Southeastern PA thing, but I could be wrong. They may be in parts of Jersey as well. ;)
It's simply steak fries with pizza sauce and lotsa melted mozzarella. :)

Mountain Dew rules! I love it out of the fountain, but it's best in glass bottles (still produced in West Jefferson, NC). I always wished Disney had Dew. But I too like Sprite out of the fountain, and fountain coke is pretty good with a meal.
I wonder if The Lake will continue their free unlimited soft drinks service once they switch to Coke?
Being from Iowa, I should call it "pop", but I've been calling it "soda" since I was in middle school. And now that I live in eastern PA, that's the norm. It's so weird to go home to Iowa now and hear everyone call it "pop".

Is it just my imagination, or does the fountain Coke at Kings Island taste better than other fountain Cokes out there? It seems to me like they adjust the fountains to add extra syrup. Yummy!

Doesn't that make your hair sticky? I find using a glass works better and you don't get the strange looks from other guests.
