SoB's layout is okay to me, except that the entire ride is hidden by the lift hill. If it was hidden by say...trees and Terrain, I't'd be kind of cool.
SoB fit well as a really good acronym for the ride, because that's what people did while limping down the exit ramp... They sobed.

Good choice Tekwardo :)
It's a TOTALLY underrated ride, IMO. At nite in the back seat, late, it can be amazing.
Was that for me?
Yeah, but honestly of the 3 you mentioned, I've only been on Griffon, so I can't really say it's the best choice :).
Myrtle Beach is a little further than I wanted to travel this time, but SF looks like a pretty nice ride.
Sadly, Myrtle isn't what it used to be, and with the closure of the Pavilion and that Other new park, most enthusiasts aren't hitting it up like they were when the Pavilion closed, and Hard Rock/Freestyle was open. Swamp Fox is a great ride, and very well maintained for a seaside woody.
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

I don't want to see the Son go down, but it's not like it was everyone's favorite ride either. (And if it was it's because their one of those "ooo it's the tallest thing here, that makes it best" people). But if anything, a great reason I'd miss it is because u can get off any ride where someone says, "dude that was a rough ride!" and you can say, "that wasn't anything like the Son of Beast!"..................flippin helix of death.........
Looks like Son of Beast will be open again soon...in one way or another. See post #874. http://www.kicentral.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=21000&st=870
Fantastic Tim Burton film though. ;)
...Probably one of my favorite films of all time.
