Son of Beast closes

A Sweeny Todd maze would be amazing, a bunch of Dickens London themeing, with the inabitants either struck mad by tertiary syphilis or bloody ghosts running around, then you get to the meat pie shop, followed by a trip upstairs to the barber shop. Followed by a seat in the chair yourself and a trip down to the oven via slide.

Yeah never happen though...

Fantastic Tim Burton film though. ;)

...Probably one of my favorite films of all time.

FYI, there are about 4 versions of that film, that I know of. The one with the blonde from Absolutely Fabulous is a great movie!

The one with Murder She Wrote is terrible.

Angela Langsberry was the original Mrs. Loveitt in the Broadway production. Im guessing the movie you've seen is "terrible" because its a simple recording of the stage production.

Yep. It was bad. Although personally, I think the musical sucks in general, though Diana loves it (for all I know, she may have worked one of those shows).

Awesome connection! I forgot about Langsbury starring as Mrs. Lovvett in the TV version. It was terrible.

What an awesome idea for a haunt...theme it to the recent film!

I owns a copy of the really old, non-musical, black and white version. That's my first exposure to the story. It's pretty good, if you like old movies.

It's Angela Lansbury (not Langsbury), by the way...

I had little choice but to watch more than a few episodes of Murder, She Wrote in my youth.

I find great humor in a thread that combines "son of beast" and "Angela Lansbury" on this coaster site.

Out of the interest of fairness, I guess I will go to a an old tv show site and make a post about Mark Shapiro and Dick Kinzel being "Bud Abbott and Lou Costello".

Fever I really enjoy the Simpsons. It's just a shame that I am starting to LOOK like Homer.

Yeah, I got the name wrong all right, but at least I got the "u" in there, which I can argue was the first attempt to correctly spell her name in this post. :p

A few, but I'm not really the show tunes "Type". If it's ABBA or scary, maybe. lol

...and to keep this on-topic, if I were your father you'd be an SOB! :)

You mean I'm not already? lol

(No need for anyone to comment on this, BTW. ;))

For what its worth, I've always thought of you as one :)

I am soooo not sending you a Christmas card this year. (Not that I have ever sent a Christmas card to anyone in my life...but nonetheless, I hope that hurt your feelings. ;))

Instead, I'll just continue arguing that Son of Beast should not be taered down.

I moved, and I'm not telling you my new address. Take that! :)

If you remember when SOB opened in 2000 it had three trains, the red train was taken off because it was a trouble maker.

What was red train doing? Calling people names? Getting into fights?

Screamscape says that they are building some kind of halloweekends attraction on son of beast's platform.

Sounds like another walk thru attraction.

Also sounds like son of beast is done for.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
