what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
My wife and I were just talking about how little Cedar Point takes advantage of their location. It would be great if they found a way to open up that section of the park to the lake.
For the record, the boardwalk concept is something I made up for the purpose of rumor mongering before CoasterBuzz launched. :) Then Cedar Point used formed concrete to look like wood around the relocated Giant Wheel and it practically became fact. Like the green Millennium Force train.

Don't hold your breath on a new coaster....
After Maverick, I don't think they're actually due for one myself. Honestly, There isn't a lot that I think that park lacks as far as rides are concerned, save for a family steel coaster and a dark ride.
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.
CP really could do a much better job of using the beach area. While I like Wicked Twister as a ride, I though its placement was a complete waste of beach space. The ride would have been much more interesting turned 90 degrees so you launched towards the lake. Then their would have been a lot more shoreline that could be used for another ride or attraction. Imagine how cool Max Air would be swinging out over the lake.

Did the rocket ships from Geauga Lake survive?

With the emphasis on "Fair" it makes one wonder, could Cedar Point's new for 2011 attraction be donkey rides?!???
How about a donkey ride up MF's lift hill? How long would THAT take?!
The amusement park rises bold and stark..kids are huddled on the beach in a mist

I wonder if it was one of the Euclid Beach Rockets. The Humphrey family saved a few of those tubs after the park was torn down. They were built in house and are larger than the R. E.Chambers version that was fitted to Traver airplane rides.. I've heard that at least one is now some kind of parade vehicle .
