Kinzel hints at 2011 ride in Sandusky Register

Now if they'd build a Traver-style swing on the beach...that would be pretty sweet. :)

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

Yea, cuz that will pull in the crowds.

El Toro is one thing that intamin got right. I really hope that's what they get.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

All 3 Euclid beach rockets are being used for parades, tours and other special events. The Euclid Beach Boys have one. Here are the other 2. The Euclid Beach boys have another one in Florida now. I'm not sure where this 4th one came from.

Were the rockets from Euclid Beach moved to Geauga Lake after Euclid Beach closed?

I was under the impression that they were separate rides. I could swear that there were three rockets sitting in the bone yard back when Six Flags still owned it. At least one of them is definitely at Cedar Point right now, if not on the island then parked somewhere near P&D.

They were seperate rides. At least one was laying on terror island last year.

Cedar Point might get that Intamin woodie eventually...but not in 2011.

The EBP tubs are much larger than the standard Chambers ones which as I recall had four seats. That is what Geauga, Kennywood and Idlewild had. The Golden Zephyr at DCA is the more like it.

The "lost Cedar Point" section of the park is long overdue and would be a great addition to the front of the park by the collesium. This section could include a dark ride, a wooden coaster, a boardwalk and maybe even an updated version of a funhouse. This is something that could easily be marketable without having to break any records.

What about rebuilding Cyclone, or a larger clone?

Nice idea, but its not happening for 2011.

LOL Mike.

Can I prove CP isn't getting a coaster next year? Nope...but then I also can't prove Tom Cruise isn't gay. ;)

Mamoosh is always right. Not getting my hopes up! That area needs some love. Maybe we will see an extension of the kids area, or just some smaller rides and games.

I'm just wondering if the new attraction will be on/next to the beach, or on Demon Drop's old site...?

Well for what it's worth, all I needed to do to convince myself it was not a coaster was to go to CP and look at the area everyone is so giddy about. There are all of 2 stakes in the beach, and both are only 15-20 feet (if that) from the park. There is nothing "happening" in that area that would draw the attention of anyone except for someone carefully looking for bits of spraypaint here and there.

I think Wiener Prater is going to have some competition next year :)

Yeah, Screamscape just reported on that, and if they get one of those Starflyer like things, you probably won't catch me on it. I rode one at a fair and it freaked me out.
