I don't think it plagues the industry. Just Intamin.

It does seem to happen over and over again for Intamin. So, fair enough.

Yeah... waiting for the pricing (hopefully today or tomorrow). We'll be doing ERT on Millennium Force.

I am surprised nobody has been discussing the lack of any sort of line for StR. The park is busy today, most of the majors have decent if not long lines, and StR is a walk on. Dare we say this is a significant failure for the park yet? What could be the problem???

What could be the problem?

That it's currently 67 degrees in Sandusky.

Wish it was 67 degrees in Winston-Salem.

Totally Kinzel's fault.

In that case I say we move him to Carowinds. I'm supposed to be there around 6:30 and it's still over 90 degrees out.

Maybe if you did not get soaked on the ride, the line may be longer. ......Just saying.

Is a 15 min or less line for a brand new attraction a good sign the week that it opens regardless how cool it is?

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Anybody ride it yet?

I thought it was strange the line was so short as well.. But then again, not many people know it is open I am guessing, yet.

I relate to so little around here anymore...

What? Are we really suggesting that a water ride that gets people wet is a bad thing?

Yeah, everyone knows how unpopular rapids rides are because they soak people. The nightmarish throng of people waiting in line on hot days is a hallucination.

Yea, and everybody knows how unpopular log flumes are because they don't soak people. The thought of going on a water ride and not having to ring your clothes out is just foolish.:)

Cedar point already has 2 water rides that you get soaked on.

I'm getting whiplash from the changing arguments. First it was the public is outraged because the ride didn't open with the park. Now it's no one wants to ride it today, so the ride is a failure.

That sound, my friends, is credibility dying.
