Getting off-topic here but....

Spaceballs is funny...can't argue that. But funniest of all time? Come on, Matt. I can think of four Mel Brooks movies with more laughs and gags: Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, High Anxiety, and the aforementioned History.
Off the top of my head, movies that are in my opinion much funnier than Spaceballs: "What's Up Doc?" "A Fish Called Wanda," "Airplane," "The Women" (original 1939 version), "The Jerf," "The Princess Bride," "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels"....
Here is Bravo's list of 100 Funniest Movies. I don't necessarily agree with the order and there are a lot missing but still a pretty good list and a lot arguably better than Spaceballs (which did not make the list):

For a more comprehensive list, here's AFI's take on funny movies:
Since we have veered off course I would like to say that almost all of my favorite movies and music are from the 80's. I still watch and listen to them and have seen many of the bands this decade, which I did not have the chance to see prior to that.
My mother (1946-2009) once asked me why I go to Magic Mountain so much. I said I feel the most alive when I'm on a roller coaster.

Since you're the one who brought it up I think it would be fascinating for you to go through this and find the highest ranking coasters pre-1990. ;) Have fun with that.
I don't have a Bon Jovi mix tape but I do have their greatest hits CD and I saw them at the Arrowhead Pond in Feb, 06. Not surprised that there are no coasters from the 80's in the top 25 either. Everything I have rode which was built post-1990 has been much better and some coasters from the 70's or earlier have been better too.

On the music side, tell me you haven't jammed out to Van Halen (or Van Hagar), early U2 (loved "Where the Streets Have No Name"), a-ha's "Take on Me" now and then?
Great, now I have A-Ha stuck in my head. Thanks.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
Since we're on the subject of U2, I watched about two hours of last night's concert and was blown away. They played just about every one of my favorite songs in that time span, and ending with With Or Without You was amazing. Still don't know if U2 can top Trans-Siberian Orchestra for best concert, though. I'll have to actually attend one in person to decide.
