^Where is that from the tower? Which side should I sit on and which direction should I look?

I'm throwing out red herrings.

Sounds like a new special effect SF is adding to their coasters, along with the fire and soundtrack.

Track is on-site: http://www.kdfansite.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=53&pos=68

Some are saying the track used on this coaster is "similar" to the Premier Launched coaster at the Ferrari Experience Park.

That's just bizarre looking. What in the heck is that?

After seeing other coaster track designs, that just seems like overkill. I wonder if the whole circuit will have that double spine. Or, maybe just in the areas with higher G-forces.

Even if that's the case, the amount of steel seems absurd.

I have been trying to find any pictures of this coaster. Does anyone know where to find any?

Ok, I found a picture on this site. In the for-ground, it doesn't appear to be the same, but if you look at the spine just before the second vertical support, it looks like the second spine starts.

To me it looks like a cross between something from Premier Rides and Vekoma (think Expedition Everest). If it's coming in shipping containers, I'd tend to lean toward Vekoma.

So the track is red. Did you subtly give away the name of the coaster, Moosh? :)

Not sure who started calling the Ferrari coaster Premier track but I was just chatting with someone on coasterforce.com that claims that is Intamins new style of track. He read some articles at European Coaster Club ECC that suggested that. You'll remember ECC as the people that released that layout of Diamondback long before anyone had a clue what it would be.

Nope. No idea what the name of the ride is, Vater. Truth be told I don't officially know anything about the ride.

I know...I was just joking. :)

But I guess with the rash of (arguably) lousy ride names lately, I guess 'Red Herring' wouldn't be too outlandish...

The ones that I saw that clearly show the double spin have been on Theme Park Review (not that I'm trying to advertise them) and they linked a picture from themeparkguy.com, which I can't find anything on his site from this ride.

Not all of the Ferrari coaster uses the double spine, just parts of it. There even looks like areas where there is no spine at all.

Instead of the Diamondback logo with the snake head and fangs, you'd be looking at fish lips. :)
