Maybe The Gravity Group was just trying to throw us off course with the whole Timberliner thing. Maybe this is their new steel coaster division.

Maybe the reason WHY the track's so oversized is that they'll be HALF the number of supports as on a normal coaster.

Something tells me that Carrie may be on to something there...because it looks basically like the track that was used for the prototype of that coaster, but more reinforced.

In all seriousness though the track is most likely a new style of Intamin track.
They're bringing the King Cobra back. They just painted it red. Doesn't color make such a difference?
Carrie, one of "those guys" has already been built. This is obviously not one of "those guys". ;)
