More details on CoasterMania! 2009...
We hope to announce the full ERT line-up tomorrow. If not, in the next few days at the CoasterMania website.
Also, many have asked about "registration." While there is no official online or in-park registration this year, you WILL have to stop at the specially marked ticket booths at the Main Entrance to receive your meal ticket, lanyard and drink wristband. You can do this at any time on Friday or Saturday.
You MUST show your valid coaster club ID to "register," receive the items and attend the event.

Tony, your post ^ mentioned meal ticket. I see on the PDF that wristbands are available for purchase, but I see no mention of lunch other than the time and location. Is this included, or an extra fair event?
I am soooooo looking forward to finding out the ERT schedule. I have been reading about Millie and Maggie having issues with mayflies in the evenings. I like to scream when riding but don't need the extra protein. :)
I do have a question about the "film festival"...
I have an ancient Magnum video (edited on VHS circa. 1991!) that I would like to submit, but I wonder about the video acquisition rules. This particular project contains 44 frames (1.5 seconds) of on-ride video, but said video was quite obviously stolen indirectly from the Cedar Point image video library, as it is the famous Magnum POV with the camera mounted under the train's front bumper.
Is that an automatic disqualification?

OMG pass the Power shot. 2 hours on Millie starting at OMG early in the morning. Why not just keep us up all night long. Figure that you won't get to sleep till 1:00am Saturday morning then up at 5:00 am to get ready for the next day.
I Might to break down and get a room on site this year. :) I Defiantly won't be driving to and from Cleveland in the time available.

It makes sense, though, Steve. Those are the rides that are most likely going to have the longest lines at park closing. You don't want to have to wait 2 hours for the line to clear out so ERT can start, do you?
