Coaster dream
As I'm so excited about my third coaster trip to the US in May, I've been dreaming about parks nearly every night. The annoying thing is, every time I get there, the park's either shut, or I wake up before I get to go any rides!
However, I did once make it to "The Beast", only to find my restraints came undone, which wouldn't have been so bad, if the ride hadn't have turned into "Kraken" halfway through.

I had the craziest Hypersonic dream the other night. I was at PKD and I got in line for Hypersonic: XLC, and finally, when I got on the ride, it wasn't a launched ride. It was a lift up, and oddly, a lift down, but there were still vertical towers. I then walked around the park, and I realized I could control my actions in this dream. I went around doing things I would never do in real life. I was somewhat in-between sleep and conciseness.

Why do most of us have dreams where we are on a specific coaster yet the coaster is different in some odd way? Suspended rather then inverted, lift rather then launch, blue rather then orange,...
And why do so many of us dream of coaster disasters? I have absolutely no (conscious) fear of a coaster crashing yet everytime I dream of them they do.

I usually dream that i`m too short for rides (the height requirment always seems to grow)and the ride ops sometimes let me on or sometimes escort me to Boomtown FOR LIFE but i can`t go on anything there because i`m too tall. Other times when i`m too short but allowed i look as tall as the kid in all the teasers for Montu. Then the ride always turns into a dark ride with messed up clowns. Other dreams are i fall out of the coaster, for some reason i fall out of bed. Sometimes i`ll think i`m in a que line (usually after waiting in line forever)and i sleepwalk(i only sleepwalk in the summer though), a lot of times i`ll dream i`m walking up or down steps and actually walk down steps. Weird Huh?

I had a freaky dream last night that me & my pal were in a jungle, kinda like a cross between Jurassic Park @ IOA and the dream scenes from the movie 'What Dreams May Come' with Robin Williams in it. We came to the edge of a slope, there was practically a canopy of 'video game' trees over a huge valley. In the valley was a huge ancient full-circle amphitheatre.
You may ask, 'what the heck has this got to do with coasters??' Guess what? Nitro was right in the middle of the amphitheatre!! We got excited & ran down to grab a ride. Unfortunately the line was a hour long & by the time came our turn I woke up. Damnit!
Several months ago had a dream that I was in Cedar Point. Walked to MF where the final overbanked turn is, stood opposite the station I guess where the entrance is. MF had light-blue track and white supports. And the final o.turn surrounded a swimming pool! I looked up at the lift hill and in my dream I swear it looked like it was 600ft tall instead of 310ft! I then spent the rest of my dream in a freaking maze of anything trying to board MF. :(

I had Dreams about SFMM also. I remember i went on revolution when my shoulder restraint opened and i hung on too i also remember another dream when my whole class at school went to sfmm just to look at the scenery and observe stuff and write stuff. It was pretty dull but when i went on the coaster i was pulled out by a teacher.
AAAAGGGHHH! Had another dream that I drove past someone's house in the bush/forest 2 mins from where I live & on the driveway was red B&M track!!! Pulled over & got lost in the wrong house & woke up. Damnit! I hate it when that happens.
Since the Demon & Luna Park Big Dipper reside in my city, have had several dreams of them. One was the Dipper had 5 inversions instead of two, was a Hypercoaster & travelled over the harbor. I wish.

I dreamed I was at SFWOA last night about 3 hours before closing and while standing in line for S:UE park officals came out and started hitting people (using a gun that looked like a machine gun!)with a nerve gas like stuff that put you to sleep so they could try to break the world record for staying in a cardboard box the longest! They missed me, but I went to sleep eventually. I am not joking!!!

I have the most wonderful dream theme parks. I don't think I've ever ridden a coaster in one of my dreams, but my sleeping self has designed a truly amazing theme park. I've stayed in the condos, shopped in the stores, ridden all the amazingly complex dark rides, taken children on kiddie rides, written advertising slogans, rented cars . . I can't remember everything. But it would easily out-Disney Disney World if it were ever built!
I dreamed I was at SFGADV 2 days beforee I went and I saw the gasm but it had giant interlocking loops! I was riding Viper but it was in a b&m car. I went to gasm so I got on and In the top interlocking loop it got stuck at the very top. (I was in the front)Then the train fell off the track and hit the loop under it and it was dangling. Then my harness came undone and i hopped on to a log flume and I got trapped under one of the boats. I swam out of the water in the station and was then killed by a midget clown with a hot dog. THEN I WOKE UP!
I once had a dream where I went back to SFGAm and they added two loops and a camelback to Viper, but the new track was made of cardboard and Viper was a completely different layout. Also I rode it and sometimes You didn't make it through the loop and you would fall from the train. Also I fell out over a hill but instead of falling down I went up and then it felt really cool and I woke up. Pretty weird huh.

This subject came up a few months back, but I had a crazy dream that I wanted to share with y'all.
Last night, I had a dream that I was visiting PGA. The park was doubling the number of attractions. There was construction going on everywhere. They were installing a Perilous Plunge right next to Whitewater Falls. The Demon was getting reprofiled. And various other projects were going on.
For some reason, the old Trabant "Bottom's Up" was back and I found myself a ride operator again. However, they had changed all the controls (It used to be a simple power key, start button, and e-stop). After loading the ride, I tried to operate it. The button labels didn't make a lick of sense. When I turned the key, the ride jacked straight up on hydraulic jacks. I pushed a button and it started flat spinning very very fast. When I tried to stop the ride, the button I pushed made the operator booth start to spin. The control panel wasn't spinning so I only had one chance per spin to try to stop it. After managing to hit e-stop, my supervisor came by and asked me to leave.
I walked to the other side of the park and got in line for a new super-fast go cart ride inside a mountain. The cars looked like old VW bugs. They were going very fast in and out of tunnels. There was a portion of the course where the cars were jumping. One flipped over and landed on top of the occupants. They were all laughing as they were pulled to safety. When it was my turn, I had the option of getting on a motorcycle version. A little kid asked me if I would let him have my bike. I told him he was too short. The bike had 4 gears and the course track was carpeted with plastic miniature golf grass. In the beginning, I was able to choose from 3 different courses. I chose the middle. There were plenty of bumps and hills and airtime. It was super fun.
There were a lot more details, and I've had plenty other detailed dreams that involved a wide variety of subjects. But since this was park related, I thought I'd share.
Anybody else have strange park dreams like this?

I had a dream about Nitro. It was raining and I was sitting in a car in a parking lot, and I looked around and saw Nitro in the distance. It didn't actually look at all like Nitro, but somehow I knew it was. So I went over to it and it's queue was over a lake and was concrete and involved a lot of stair, so the station was 40 or 50' off the ground. My friend were with me and I kept trying to describe the B&M hyper trains to them, but they didn't really get it. I woke up before I got a chance to ride. :(
I also had a dream the night before Hypersonic, that I got on it and somehow it managed to launch at half speed. Also, there was a 180 degree turn between the launch and the tower, so we went around the (unbanked) turn and about 30' up the tower before we trickled back down onto the turn.

I had a dream like a long time ago, when Top Gun opened up, that my friend and I were on it and my restraint popped up and I fell out and I was holding on for dear life on the side of the coaster. It was really freaky cause I had the same dream like 3 nights in a row. of course.. when I fell, I woke up. heh

I had a dream last night that I rode Windjammer (which I never did) In the dream, Knotts apparently decided that the ride was fine, and though all the ground was cleared beneath the ride, they wanted to keep it afterall.
So I went on the ride (which wasn't rough :)) and loved it...
Go figure. As long as this doesn't ever happen :)

So I went on the ride (which wasn't rough :)) and loved it...
