Coaster dream
I had a dream that I was on Power Tower (up). For some reason my seat didnt have restraints, and it was black. But anyways they launched it and I flew up into space and hit my head on the moon. Then I fell back down threw the roof at the top of Snake River Falls and then I decided to pretend it was a big water slide
I wish I dreamt about roller coasters more often. Instead I always seen to have a recurring dream about Peter Pan and leprechauns. Weird.
I had a dream not too long ago that I was driving west on Route 40 between Brownsville and Washington, PA. As I approached Washington I saw a carnival that had a nice looper. I woke up half way through the ride and was extremely upset, considering I haven't rode a coaster since Halloween. :-(

I always have really weird dreams about coasters. Last night, I had a dream that I was on Raging Bull, and it was actually more like a waterslide than a coaster. The first drop was really good, but the ride ended with us being thrown from the trains. I dream frequently about riding various coasters and being flung out, except it never seems to hurt much. I have never once been through a fully accurate ride in a dream.
Before I got a chance to ride Millennium Force, I had a dream about being on it about once a week, for about 3 months. Needless to say, I was a little excited about getting on it. I've also had dreams where I go to CP, but the park is completely different, but the ride names are the same. Gemini was a twin coaster that you had to walk up stairs to the 120 foot station, then start the coasting down. (Almost like those speed slide). Magnum was a yellow out and back, but it was almost like the cables on a suspension bridge....in fact, I think it WAS a suspension bridge with cars that ran where the cables would be. Oh..and the whole park surrounded a giant lake. Strange huh?
I could kick myself for not posting this at the actual time I dreamed it because then this would not sound so made-up, but I swear this is true:
I am not a NASCAR fan, in other words, I can take it or leave it. I don't follow it or really know alot about it, so that is why my dream was so strange.
I dreamed I was at an unknown park. There was a new coaster, but when I went to get in line, things were very strange. The entrance was an area enclosed with glass, and the coaster station was up above you. No one was in line and no one was around except for a few official looking people standing around very quietly, dressed in black. They said I could not ride. I looked up just as the empty coaster was coming back in the station, and all of the cars were black with the number "3" on the side of them.
Is this coincidence, or maybe somewhere deep in the back of my mind I have heard mention of a NASCAR or Earnhardt coaster. Either way, it is very strange.

I have had several nightmares of Magnum falling off the track with me on it. Its funny, since maggie is my favorite all-time coaster, and it still scares me a little. Thats high excitement!
Yes, actually last night I had a doosey of a rollercoaster dream. My brother and I were at Busch Gardens Williamsburg (this dream was a "preview" of what I get to actually see for the first time this summer. I wanted to go on Alpengeist first, so we did, and walked straight on, to the front row. Then the lift went out over the ocean, and I was telling him how I had "heard" that this was the scariest ride ever built. The drop was followed by a HUGE loop, and my brother commented on how scary it was. Suddenly the train meandered around, going through about two very slow, unbanked turns, and the ride was over. I thought it sucked. I then wanted to go on Apollo's Chariot and Roar (don't ask me why roar was at busch gardens...) but suddenly my dream changed plots. Hopefully when I actually go I have a much more successful time!

Not to be poking fun....but a good name for this might be "Earnhardt's Twisted Revenge". I mean nothing bad by this....it truly was just a weird thought. I hope not to upset anyone. My deepest apologies to anyone that I do.

Worst dream is when I dream I'm on Superman The Escape and it goes past the emergency brakes and flys off the track then I always wake up!!!!

I have had quite a few coaster dreams before, but I can't remember the specifics right now.. I can't really remember having a dream where the coaster crashed or I fell out though. it seems like everyone else here who dreams about coasters dreams about crashing!
I had a bizarre dream of SROS SFNE on Sat night. I dreamt riding it and the LHill was only like 40ft tall and said to myself "I thought it was supposed to be like 220ft tall?" Then the drop came and it was only 10 degrees steep! Yeah, the whole ride was veeerrrryyy sssllloooww and no Overbanked Turn. :( The Non-Inverting Corkscrew Hill was there. :) Then came the really weird part, the track became two rails only, no ties, ledgers, cross-sections etc. And the rails started to twist over each other etc, so the train sprouted mechanical spider legs, kinda like the ones from Wild Wild West. Only thinner and on the end of each leg was a cup which connected with steel balls fixed along turns etc. Looks like it was done on purpose.
Woke up and said "What the hell was that???" LOL! :)

I have a reoccuring dream of falling out of Vortex...and landing on top of the Eiffel Tower...the very top. I couldn't get off until they built the monorail here all the way from WDW. Don't even ask.
Another one was very thrilling. I've nevr ridden Colossus at SFMM but in my dream, it is the best coaster I've ever ridden. That is actually my #1 reason to go to SFMM...to see if it's as good as they dream. I don't even know the true Colossus layout and there wasn't a sign to tell me it was Colossus. But I just knew.

Another one was very thrilling. I've nevr ridden Colossus at SFMM but in my dream, it is the best coaster I've ever ridden. That is actually my #1 reason to go to SFMM...to see if it's as good as they dream. I don't even know the true Colossus layout and there wasn't a sign to tell me it was Colossus. But I just knew.

i once had a dream where i was on goliath and one the first drop i flew out of my seat and my lap bar broke and then i landed on the top of S:TE? then all of a sudden the tower started to fall and i feel and when i landed i woke up in a cold sweat. and this was all at the hotel the day after i went to magic mountain.

During the summer when we worked in SFNE, my boyfriend would dream about operating SROS in the nude and many a good night's sleep (yeah , like we got to sleep when working at Six flags) was disturbed by his sleep talking and jumping over the end of the bed yelling E-STOP, E-STOP!!!!!

KoasterKing, I love waking up from dreams like that, where everything makes perfect sense in the dream...everything's logical. Then you wake up and start explaining it to someone, and you realize just how nuts you sound!

I just had a bizarre dream last night. I dreamt I was at PKI & I've never been there in real life! I was in line for XLC and came my turn & it was so weird, me and my friend had to literally climb on the train which was just flat rubber, like a table lined with rubber you know? Except there were these two recesses for us to put our butts in, like digging a hole on the beach & placing ya butt in it! We were then strapped in like mental patients and BAM! As we were racing towards the vertical hill, I saw the car ahead at the top fly right off that track & started panicking. Luckliy our car didn't come off the track & we made it back safely. That's all I can remember. I think I had too much wine to drink last night. :)
