Unless I'm mistaken, the second-to-last blog picture does include a small section of new track bed. So, ever so slightly more interesting than a new bathroom.

I guess Gonch's smarminess would sting a bit more if I didn't agree with this guy, not to mention any legitimate "I told you so" from Gonch would require his misconstruing my argument to begin with. That's ok, I'm used to that. :)
So you feel that two pictures - one showing a new handrail and one showing a very small section of new trackbed - justifies the original post? You don't think it was stirring the poop just to stir the poop?
I dunno. Your posts sure made it seem like you expected something and couldn't understand why they'd show a pile of wood unless it was for something pretty important.
Is standard annual refurb on the wooden coasters worthy of a blog post showing the wood?
I guess that's up to the individual. I stand by my original opinion - it's was false hype - wood for nothing special.

Maybe I'm just gullible but why go to the bother of taking the picture, writing the post, and then including this"We bet you're all pining to know what it's for..."
on one of your most visible marketing tools only to later announce it's just for general repairs?
I'm not sure how I'm misconstruing that.
I'm not going to lie, the less than upbeat tone of this thread is pretty lame. Tony and Tyler didn't imply that this is all for next season. If anything I believe it's a good buildup to the "future deliveries." This shouldn't do anything but fuel future speculations. I mean holy crap, we tare apart Paula's posts of tool sheds and carpenter shops without this much complaining. So stop the crying and let's get back to our wish list of aqua-trax, Geauga Lake imports and what ever else Cedar Point isn't going to put in for next season.
Rant subsiding.... and gone. :)
