Cedar Point just got a big shipment of wood

Ok, so I guess where I get lost is on one side of the coin we have Cedar Point, posting a picture of wood on a blog designed to be a marketing tool for the park, and making a big point that the material we are looking at is indeed wood, a construction material which is often found in the building of lots of things the target audience of said blog would be interested in. All of this seems to me to indicate the potential of some sort of interesting development involving the wood, "interesting" being determined by a standard of "interesting" (or, not mundane) to people who would typically read a blog written by Cedar Point marketers.

On the other side of the coin we have...skepticism?

Yeah, but you added a lot of personal feelings, thoughts and speculation to the first side of the coin. It should read more like this:

On one side of the coin we have Cedar Point, posting a picture of wood on a blog designed to be a marketing tool for the park, and making a big point that the material we are looking at is indeed wood.

On the other side you have people saying, "Yeah, so?"

Anything beyond that is being inferred by the reader.

(which is exactly what they want you to do :) )

I infer that you have a woman's leg over your shoulder.

Looks like an arm with a sleeveless blouse to me. That's a wrist and hand. Unless my eyes are giving out. Which could be. Where's opthtodoc? ;)

Gonch already cleared up once how you could tell the difference. Are you going to make him say it again?

I hope its a nice log flume. Maybe even themed a bit (I"m not going to ask for too much) but that picture of a pile of wood is really doing its job we are at 3 pages within 24 hours. Good job to Tony and Tyler they just got hundreds of more hits to their site and have people talking and thats what they get paid to do.

Its sad when your best friend asks you the exact running time of a ride. Good thing I didnt know.

Nah, it's not my arm or leg so it makes no difference to me. :)

I was just wondering if the explanation was really missed before or if this was some ploy to get you to repeat it. You know, like when little kids come running back up to their dad in the hopes he'll say "pull my finger" one more time. (Giggle, giggle)

I insist the Nantimi thing was one of the worst, most poorly executed, marketing plans ever.

I got 3 free admissions out of it, so it worked for me. :) Actually, there was a lot more talk going on at *other sites* than here.

Anyway, about that wood. I think they're planning to sell a hell of a lot of corn dogs and cheese on a stick next year.

So are we all going to boycott CedarPoint if the pile of wood is just a pile of wood?
