I thought I saw Mean Girls -- or at least I half watched while it was playing on the DVD, but I think I'm missing something here.

I've seen Mean Girls but didn't know I made reference to it. Where...?

Ah. Well it was an unintentional reference. With all due respect to Tina Fey that was a joke long before Mean Girls.

Didn't Kelly Bundy say something like that?

Hey, this MUST be a joke right? I mean interstates that run North-South are supposed to be odd numbers and the ones that run East-West should be even. Someone must be pulling our legs here! ;)

It is really bad when I look at those numbers and right away without really thinking about it I see the heights of Kingda Ka, Top Thrill Dragster, Superman: The Escape, Tower of Terror, and Steel Dragon 2000.

I love the FAQ and the "You owe me!".

This park isn't for me though. NO CREDITS!!!

Funny, the letters in the park GM's name seem familiar to me.

The sad thing is, it sounds a lot like one of my favorite parks up in Gilroy. ;)

And $5 for test your strength? Hell no. I bring my own games and play them in the parking lot for free. Sure it takes 2 hours out of my day, but I save upwards of 75 cents.

Not only one of the funniest things I've ever read here, but also one that offers perspective for those seeking it.

Well done. :)

We clearly need to start a petition to get Lighty the Lightpost t-shirts.

I second that motion!

Make that a third!

If we want to test strength, just a get a few engine blocks in various sizes (small four-banger for the kids, mid-size v-6 for the lighter guys & ladies, and a big block for the manly man), and see if they can pick them up!

Figures they'll replace the free rides* with upcharges.

When does CharmBuzz launch?

*As Gonch will tell you, the rides are free with your paid admission!

I heard the company's heavily in debt after acquiring several national parks, including Yellowstone, Yosemite, and Valley Forge.

I imagine Charmbuzz would be too gentle and, um, charming, for the Internet:

Charmlover115
Pardon me for intruding in your lovely forum. I couldn't help but think that Charmland is in need of a Huss Giant Sandbox, complete with sand-shaping accessories and two single-rider sand-moving cranes. Only an opinion, mind you. Do any of you wonderful contributors agree?

Charm Mod
Oh, that's quite all right. Please, allow me to be the first to welcome to you to Charmbuzz. And if you don't mind, I noticed you have exceptional grammar and writing skills! What a nice addition you'll make to our community.

Charm Gonch
Yes, welcome Charmlover115. You'll find us a largely unopinionated group, always supportive and encouraging of one another. I myself value short posts without lengthy series of quotations.

Charm Ride Man
The Huss Giant Sandbox has a standard footprint of 379.5 square meters, not including the optional Whatzit hydraulic 3:1 gear reducer thingies (as seen at Tree Lake from 1971 to 1986). But other than that, I don't know much about it.

Charm Chuck
That's it. If they take out the Extreme Swing for crap like this, I'm boycotting Charmland and all other parks that begin with a 'Ch'!

Charm Mod
Now, now, Chuck. We love you. ((Hugs))

A good post from beginning to end, but this line in particular actually made me laugh out loud. Nice work!
