Then maybe I tried another number. :) Anyway, it looks like they deliberately blurred it. Other than the 4, the other numbers aren't clear at all.

So, who answered when you called it, halltd? :)

If you try to save the image from truthRevealed.html, it's a Paint Shop Pro XI Image. Maybe that's the tie in to the van Gogh quote. Could the individual frames contain more clues or things waiting to be found?

Hmm maybe it doesn't have anything to do with a phone. Maybe its a password or a user name or some thing else

Enthusiast detectives ever stop to think that coaster layout in the pic isn't the new coaster? ;) You know Intamin had several proposed layouts for Storm Runner. The one layout proposed went down into Comet Hollow close to the Great Bear's Immelmann before coming back.

Things aren't what they seem because that isn't the coaster that they are building. Why would they build another coaster that resembles Storm Runner that closely a few years later, and also has elements of other coasters they already have at the park(Great Bear & Sidewinder)?? Wouldn't you think that it would be something more unique? ;)

Hershey's PR dept must be having a field day over this thread. . . .

Fate is the path of least resistance.

Not to mention all the other PR departments who are shaking their heads and thinking, "gee I wish I would have come up with this."

This kind of pre-announcement detective work, hype, and speculation by enthusiasts is nearing Werne-like proportions!

Are you serious? Couldn't even keep a wooden loop up for 10 years, doubt they'd try a cobra roll.

In all fairness it wasn't the loop that was the problem.

But yes, I doubt we'll see a wooden cobra roll anytime soon, anyway. :)

De-lurking to say that I don't even live particularly near Hershey, but I'm totally intruiged by this and think it's a blast. Not sure what the motivation by the park would be, but hey, it's fun and entertaining, right? I'd sure pick it over a photo of some construction vehicles ;)

(Edited out to take out observation already posted by someone else)

I just spent a while trying to de-interlace the fax and can't for the life of me remember how to do it... oh, how I long for my former life as a computer geek... LOL. But -- unless it's been tried, and I missed it -- since it's a gif and the truthRevealed page image breaks down into other images, I would say it's at least worth a shot, for someone more gif-saavy than me.

My (way too early) morning .02 :)

ETA2: Maybe I'm losing my mind, but I swear if you zoom in on the flash animation of the airport, as the airplane goes by, there's a splash of something orange -- the orange in the Z/2 symbol -- on the tail (a bit lower than where a 'normal' airplane would have its airline painted.) It really sticks out, because everything else in the image is greyscale, and I'm pretty sure it's not just the image degrading because of the zoom. Does anyone else see it? *** Edited 9/15/2007 12:41:22 PM UTC by CarrieR***

Rather good bear, I hate to bring this up..expecting massive ridicule and all...but I've noticed that there's a certain similarity of Donnan Michael's name to a to a poster who seems not too happy about this game being out there. I thought that it was coincidence until I saw the interview with nantimi and saw that a) nantimi is watching the forums and b)they've got a great sense of humor. Thoughts??

What struck me odd about Donan is the order they put his name: Donan Michael. Not Michael Donan, which makes more sense, since Donan really isn't a first name, Michael really isn't a last name, and "Donan" kinda falls into the wierd last name catagory all the other clients' names are in.

In this game, we're working a lot with anagrams, so somehow, I think the last names of everyone is some kinda anagram, but I haven't come up with anything yet.

Obviously an animated gif but I don't have a program that can isolate the different frames. That second frame is quick as can be. Sure someone will divide the two out pretty quick.

I already have...it is a puzzle that shows a coaster picture. I don't know how to make that pic available to everyone....

Jon,

a) I had forgotten about that "other" thread.
b) what interview with nantimi? where?

coasterphantom, maybe they're not going to create any new elements, just put together familiar ones in a different way. Sounds like the one quote on the nantimi site.

Is there anything about silver and orange that might indicate more than just a color scheme? Especially since s & o are the key (to the login?) The plane?

Someone at TPR solved the puzzle picture. I uploaded it to myspace.
