Hershey Teasing 2008 Attraction

"Well, if you are referring to Martin from Nantimi,"

??????

Isn't Jake talking to Nantimi? Why would they say 'from Nantimi'? Who is Jake and who is he talking to????

"I can’t speak for him (I’m just borrowing his email for now)"

Is there a clue here??? The source from Nantimi is using Martin's e-mail address. What would happen if we e-mailed Martin? Luke's e-mail, according to the letter to Kate, is luke@nantimi.com. Am I safe to assume that Martin's is martin@nantimi.com?

So many questions.

Jake was referring to Martin. Martin posted a comment on our site at one point and when we looked at the i.p address, it originated from Hershey property. http://www.coasterdom.com/2007/09/13/more-hershey-connections/

AirTime already solved it while I was at a movie (see his solution above). I could get some of pieces to fit together, but then others were stumping me as to their purpose. The direction of how things were to face was confusing as well to me.

It looks like some kind of spaghetti-bowl-style coaster to me.

That shouldn't be much of a surprise.

The PEM thing's bogus. There is a Feb 1987 RFC on it... but that name is not on it, or any of the newer RFC's that obsoleted the first one.

This has to be one of the weirder viral marketing / astroturfing campaigns I've seen. Who the hell drops hints about a roller coaster in Base64?

Someone who wants to mess with a bunch of enthusiasts' heads?
Went to Hershey earlier today, survey markers are blatantly spray painted EVERYWHERE near the slides. The slides are already in the process of being dismantled (they have the water pipes taken apart underneath it). I have some cell phone pics, I will post soon enough.
Spaghetti bowl type coasters generally don't get rated near the top of all coasters... :-/
The anagram for Donan Micheal came out "anal inch mode". lol

Also, the Sliver and orange clue is related to something. I think someone earlier noticed that the SILVER plane's tale was a faint shade of ORANGE. anyone else notice that. *** Edited 9/16/2007 9:08:14 PM UTC by D.S.***

^ now you're nuts ;)

Haha no I'm not giving Patrick the finger

What silver thing you get from wood? IDK. You might be onto something if you're right. What if Silver and Orange has somethign to do with written letter? Remember I brought up the fact that they titled that document "scanLumber"? That could refer to whatever that wood is Sheikrafanatic is talking about.

Or, scanLumber can be another anagram. IDK.

Roller Coasters...my first true love.
scanLumber means UNSCRAMBLE! I suppose there's something in the letter to unscramble.

Or is that refering to the them.travelled/thRu? *** Edited 9/16/2007 11:25:21 PM UTC by Lee Grant***

Please....

Save yourself some time and go back and read through the thread. Everything that you've been talking about has already been solved.

If that's the case, then what did gridAni mean?

I mentioned before that one anagram for scanLumber is "unscramble." Does that refer to the puzzle that's already been found and pieced together? Is there something that can be done with the scanLumber.gif itself? I defer to the experts in image manipulation for that one.

Why are we still being told that things aren't what they seem? Does it mean that nothing that's been discovered has anything to do with what's actually going to be constructed? Even the most basic video game congratulates you when you solve a piece of the puzzle. There's been nothing from nantimi to indicate anyone's on the right track, pun intended.

I think "Things are not as they seem" is this site's way of saying we're on the right track, but it seems like they're pacing this game. We've hit so many dead ends now that there really isn't anything else to decode until they post another article under "news and press release". Yeah, I don't think we're gonna find anything else until then. You know, I'm beginning to think if this that even if solving this Nantimi site does get us a sneak preview of the attraction before the 27th, it's not gonna be too much earlier. Might as well wait until the actual announcement.

^I have a feeling the renderings we've already seen are indeed a sneak peek of the ride. I think revealing bits and pieces as the reward makes just as much sense as finding some sort of full press release at the end of the game.

1. I was joking about the wood comments.
2. The new In the Loop episode that came out today has something about Hershey in it. I'm still listening to the episode, I'll keep you posted!

Not sure if this is anything or not but I think it is, and can't seem to figure out anything from it, so I thought I'd post what I found here and see if anyone else can come up with anything.

On the About page of Nantimi.com, the quote on the left reads

"Mistakes are almost always of a sacred nature. Never try to correct them..."
- Salvador Dali

So I find it incredibly coincidental that in the text of that page, there is exactly one spelling error. Under Louise Rhorer's bio, the word numerous is misspelled as "numorous".

I feel like it must be intentional, since even as I type this response, "numorous" gets flagged as misspelled by Firefox, so surely if it weren't intentional, it would have been fixed before the site went live?

Anyone?

[edit: also in Luke Nanavati's bio, there's a missing in "Inc.in", but I'm not sure that's as significant of a mistake since it's grammar rather than spelling, but I thought I'd mention it in case anyone else thinks it's significant] *** Edited 9/17/2007 6:02:18 AM UTC by BBSpeed26***
