what music gets you in the coaster mood

=W= Weezer =W=!!!! Blink-182, Bizkit, Metallica (NAPSTER RULES!), MxPx, Alice In Chains, Men without hats (safety dance), Blur, AC/DC, maybe a little Jimmy Buffet (Why don't we get drunk and screw is a great song! LoL), and some Kid Rock, Three Doors Down, Fuel, Filter, Deftones. Other than those, ANY PUNK. Punk is awesome and Metal, some Alternative.

This is gonna sound a little crazy, but I tend to go for classical, like a movie theme, mainly because they play the Superman Theme non-stop in the queue for SROS at SFNE. Techno does it as well, it kinda reminds me of the Hulk.

How about "rollercoaster" by red hot chilli peppers? Well acutally something that would get my going would be U2, beautiful day. Or some Linkin Park, one step closer, and Papercut.

MxPx, Reliant K, Supertones, Squad 5-0, FIVE IRON FRENZY ROCKS!!! or some ragtime, definately some scott joplin, that would get me in the mood.. scott's "pine apple rag" or the "Magnetic rag" i think they should play ragtime music in the queue lines..

Well lucky for those who hate that, in MF's line the dj ripped on her a lot. Like,

"Keep in mind that Cedar Point is a family park, so I cannot play any Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, or *NSYNC."

Also (which I know others have heard too), when he said that the next song was by what could be the greatest artist of all time, and he started playing BS Opps I did it Again, but then 10 seconds into it, the song changed to Metallica - I dissapear!! It was sooo funny and awesome.

Usually I keep quiet about this subject, but I like pop music. Sure it may be cheap, but it's up-beat and makes me feel good. Fraknly, I get tired of people bashing NSync and Britney. I don't make fun of punk, so there's no reason to make fun of other's music. :) But I do also love to hear rock in line, Metallica totally sets the mood for any coaster. And of course there's the ultimate coaster song: The Safety Dance. Those were just my thoughts...:)

While this may seem weird, when I hear Marches...like Stars and Stripes Forever and that kind of stuff, I get in that coasting mood. Perhaps it was from my time in the MF line this summer without a DJ and hearing it coming from the train....at least I think that's where it came from!

That's why I hate CP..... jk. As eggs just said.... I'm also tired of people bashing pop music. It is upbeat.... you can actually dance to it, and it makes me feel good.
As for answering the question.... some Fatboy Slim, Aerosmith, Tom Petty (for some reason the song 'American Girl' reminds me of Great America :)) or some pop music. Green Day also floats my boat.

Alot of people are talking about punk. When I think of punk I think of the Ramones, Sex Pistols, Black Flag, Germs, Misfits, etc. Who is MxPx?

WHO IS MxPX!??? they are only one of the greatest bands ever to walk the earth!! they sing.. hmm.. Responsibility, Chick Magnet, im ok your ok, punk rawk show, wow shes dumb, here with me, my mom still cleans my room, my life story, party my house be there, and the list goes on.. if you have not heard a single song by them, and you like the ramones, i SUGGEST you check them out!the ramones are AWESOME! so are the misfits! thats old school punk, and i'm down with that, but check out some mxpx, supertones, john reuben, etc.. they rock.
