what music gets you in the coaster mood

i always feel like listening to something real mellow like bob marley, l.b.d.a., slightly stoopid, sublime, and some other reggae. does anyone else have any traditions or types of music that gets them in some sort of "coaster mood?"

Call me the blacksheep here, but I really dont think of music when I am at a park ready to ride a coaster. It could be dead silence and I am still pumped for some G-Forces and serious airtime.

(and pissed off the mod's (sorry :)))

I like to listen to a lot of types of music before a park visit, usually somthing upbeat that get's me "energized" for my day of coaster riding. A nice, fast OI! song will do it for me any day...

Nothin beats some Techno/Trance. Also, some Punk rock or rap like Warren G. HAHA I guess I can listen to anything before I go on a coaster!!! Techno is so upbeat though that's why it gets me pumped

Metallica Baby. In fact, Metallica gets me in the mood for just about everything.

I'm with sfmmman. Anything heavy, especially Metallica gets me goin. I've also found that the Deftones and Godsmack can get the adrenaline flowing, and get you in the mood for some serious thrills.

Umm, whatever's on the local 'Urban' radio station...

Song of note: Whilst driving to SFO last year I heard Lil' Kim's song "How Many Licks" (f/ Sisqo) for the first time. That's about the only standout park/song combo I can think off.
