If the name is Firehawk they would have to repaint the track. Green track wouldn't make much sense. Fire means red or orange right, so are they going to paint it.

If it is firehawk, it would have been awesome to have neon orange track but, according the p-buzz guy, it will be repainted....red track, black/grey supports. And the trains would be yellow and red. Only one more day!

I think it's a good nameIf they are only going to run two trains, I wonder if they will do away with the second station.

I heard it was to hard having two stations, with 3 trains, so most likely one station and 2 trains.

no.... ur wrong

Geauga lake used both stations all the time and some times used 2 trains one station but that cause stacking.

Dude next time read the post before you write. What I was saying was, When KI get X-FLIGHT, their most likely going to have 1 station with 2 trains.

The logo looks really tacky. Oh well.

And isn't a "Fire Hawk" pretty much a Phoenix? That's like naming a ride "Giant Water Lizard" when you could just name it Crocodile.

^ For the same reason why it only ran one side at Geauga Lake.

No idea what happened to it. Either it was removed or it has exceeded its bandwith.

The name "FIREHAWK" was in all upper-case lettering that was really thick and made to look like metal. A hawk's face is positioned directly below the center of the ride's name and the two wings come off to the side of the head and flames are trailing off the tips of both wings.

Well, unless they made a decision in the past week there is no gaurentee of anything. Maureen Kaiser said that it was narrowed down to 2 Manufactures but that a decision had not been made. At Eastcoaster Saturday, Tom Rebbie from PTC was again asked about SOB and he again said that they are not building the trains.

Actually, during the 2005 season, it was common during the summer to run both sides on Saturdays. The ride is more than capable of 2 side operation, but during the week, you'd have been hard pressed to see it happen. I never went on a Saturday in 2006, but I'm sure it ran both sides at least once. It will definitely have to do that at PKI to have even remotely acceptable capacity.
