I really like Snoopy, but I can understand why kids are attracted to the more recent cartoons like the Paramount Parks.

Uhh their just logos and have no influence on the park or it's attractions. So whats the big deal, i could see if every parks tallest coaster would be sold, but this is only a logo change.

Yes they do it's called marketing and does have a influence on the park. If the logo is catchy you look at it otherwise you don't. It's called simple business.

I gotta agree. Once I was supposed to go to -- well, I'll just call it "park x" -- but when I got to the main gate and saw how bad the park's logo was I turned around and went back to my hotel.

Bad logo, bad park, bad coasters...that's my motto!

Just wanted to say that it is Michigander not Michigainian. And I think the michigan left is retarded, The round about is a far superior type intersection than any signal.

You know... it doesn't look that bad when you get it away from the horrible MA website: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michigan%27s_Adventure

Although, putting a few photoshop text filters on it might not have hurt.

A more concerning issue is that Knotts now seems to be "A CEDAR FAIR Entertainment Company" http://www.knotts.com/

I know they are trying to build a national brand, but can't they just say "A Cedar Fair Park"? They way they have it doesn't even make sense.

I think they're trying to drive the "Cedar Fair Entertainment Company" instead of just "Cedar Fair". Although I agree it should say either "A Cedar Fair Entertainment Company Park" or just simply "Cedar Fair Entertainment Company" to get their new name out there.

Yea, I think that is a good thing. I was simply commenting on the grammatical (or maybe it is technical) incorrectness.

I hate the Paramount Logo for Kings Island. It focuses more on Paramount than the actual rides.. cmon guys Im here to have fun, not to see paramount garbage!

How come the Michigan's Adventure website doesn't even show Grand Rapids under the ride list,it was a new ride for 06 but it should still be listed. The website needs some work.

This is not the first time MA has changed it's logo. I actually liked the old one with the Lion better. It was more colorful, and had more of an amusement park like feel to it.

I also liked the Lion with the austrailian accent in the old MA commercials. Better than snoopy. The new song grows on you. But I like the older ones better. Does anyone remember the old deer park funland song. "Deer Park funland...it really is the good time place." Remember that?

I think the reason Cedar Fair did away with Snoopy on the logo, is to take away the kid park image. And, make it more appealing to adults. While streamling it to match it's larger counterparts.

I wonder if this is what MA will get as part of the 83 million dollar improvements. A new website, and logo, and nothing else. Hmmmmmm.

^I agree, its not too bad but looks un-finished.

**Odd, they already swapped logos on Wikipedia, for some reason from the time I first clicked that link to now, the logo went back to the other one instead of the newest... *** Edited 1/25/2007 5:22:21 AM UTC by P18***
