Why can't this coaster have lap bars like other Intimin luanch coasters?

I mean rides like Xcelerator hits that over-bank turn at a at least 120 degree angle.

Why do peole think that OTSR are very uncomfortable? They do not bother me. Maybe beacuse I am so skiny that i don't feal squished in them.

i meant the 3 car OSTR the theming of that train was like a dragster...

That sounds about right... the restraints look just about right, and I wouldn't be a bit surprised if they had wickedly cool themed trains.

Question is... how many trains? I predict only 3... just because of the loading/breaking area, and stacking might occur if there are more. However... if they load up 2 trains at a time, they could do 4 trains at a 3 or 4-car capacity.

From the looks of that concept drawing, it looks as if the wwl station will remain there.

The reason for this is simply safety reasons. Sure going through a 120 banked turn is fine and dandy, but when you have a ride doing complete 260 degree inversions where the rider is turned upside down, it is extremely unsafe to have just T-bars unless there is a design that is specifically designed to support a rider's entire weight (Premier lapbars). When doing compound maneuvers (sp?) like a barrel roll or corkscrews, it is imperitive that there is some sort of device that can A) support the rider's upper body through the inversion... and B) support the entire weight of the rider if a train, god forbid, gets stuck in an inversion.

When going through a compound inversion, you have many forces working on you not just in a Y directional vector, but both horizontally and longitudinally. Intamin t-bars are simply just not designed to handle those kinda inversions and forces, and I would bet my life that CP wouldn't be willing to risk anything of that sort considering how *great* the history for those pneumatic t-bars are.

Also, I'm going to say no less than 4 trains. One waiting to launch, one loading, one unloading, and one running the course.

^I dont know, weve had a solid 2-3 pages everyday, if you count on another a la incident plus the expected bump (10 pages) when real news occurs 100 is not out of the question.
