I'm gay and I love roller-coasters. I was wondering if there were any other gay people out there that love roller-coasters as much as I do. Or if you know of any gay people that love roller-coasters. I've seen a lot of gay people at the parks and always wondered if there were any in ACE, etc.
Thanks

I'm not, but I've met a few ACEers who most certainly were. I don't think you be alone...

It's odd... the only gay people I know are coaster enthusiasts. I suppose that means there are a lot of gay enthusiasts or I don't have many non-enthusiast friends!

My partner and I both belong to ACE. We have met quite a few friends in the organization too (not to mention, we've had several other friends join ACE.) Trust me, there are plenty of us out there.

Count me in too... as well as my enthusiast-in-training boyfriend. (This summer we'll be working on that hands in the air thing with him.) I was surprised by the number of gay people in attendance when I went to my first ACE convention.

Does HAPPY count as being GAY? J/K...Please dont take that offensively. I am not but some of the coolest people I have met are. If you are a coaster nut you are ok by me.

Count me in as well. I have a difficult time finding people to go to the parks as my boyfriend of 7 years is
not a fan;.... at all. Just looking at pictures of S:TE makes him berate me (jokingly) for taking such huge risks. I try to tell him how safe they are, but he makes me tell him I won't ride the coasters when I visit the parks, even though he knows I will. His problem stems from motion sickness. Even a scrambler will make him sick for a few days. However, he will take Dramamine this weekend as we head to the Puyallup Spring Fair Saturday, where they have a classic woodie that tops out at 55 feet tall. If he is ok afterwards, he might take baby steps later in the summer ( Wild Thing at SFWW/EV in Seattle...heh, heh). Otherwise, although we have lots of friends, straight and gay, none are fans as I am. I will be joining ACE soon, and look forward to meeting others, gay or straight, to share my obsession with.

That neil above is not me, i am not gay, but i don't know any gay people. I think i see a lot at parks. It seems like a lot of them love coasters. I also don't believe this other reply that riding can make you gay. Maybe happy but not gay.

Do you honestly think my CoasterBuzz name is referring to Coasters?! Ha! Count me in the group, also. . .maybe we should picket our home parks for 'Gays Ride Free Day', or something like that! What are our homeparks anyway? SFGrAm is now mine. . .SFAW and SFoverTX were once my home parks.

There are Gay days at Disneyland, Knotts and SFMM. But if you're in Texas, you're on your own.

Ha Ha Fishy, it seems like there are a ton of gay riders. Why is that, i really never have met anybody that is totally into coasters and even seemed gay. I don't see the conection between riding coaster and being gay. But if you love coasters i guess it makes no difference.
