Interesting to see that you said SFWW/EV. It's a nice park, actually. I probably won't regret going to SFWW before it was bought by Six Flags (for "whatever-happened-to-that-ride" and etc.).

Note: I'm not gay, but I don't give a sh*t if anyone's gay. I'm deaf; I'm sure that I know what type of stereotype they recieve from straight people.

I am with ya kcies!! Not in gettin a g-friend though. Logger's run would be tight i guess. I don't know if it is this post but i am starting to think that the coaster community is all gay. I don't have a problem with gay people i think i will have a hard time finding a hot girl to share a ride or two. Well, i know a lot, lot of hot girls who like coasters so i guess i am fine.

I know many think that all gay people are flamboyant (say, like Jack on Will & Grace), but not everyone is like that. Perhaps you have met some and just don't know it. That might be the case if you met me.

Connection? I hardly think so. To love a coaster doesn't label you black, white, straight, gay, fat, thin, or even a die-hard enthusiast.

I understand that, it just seemed like the people earlier in the post were comparing riding coasters to being gay. I just thought there was no comparison, and that there shouldn't be. I think a person is a person, no matter what they look like or who they prefer. That was definatley not my intention to be labeling someone. Also, i understand that gay people you may not be flamboyant, and i know that.

The great thing about coasters is EVERYONE can enjoy them. Old, young, gay, straight, black, white, tall, short (as long as you're 54"), WHATEVER. It doesn't matter.

I'm not gay, but I have several friends in ACE who are, and they always refer to it as "GAYCE".
That one always makes me laugh!

How about leaving the operations of the site to Jeff and us moderators ok? We don't need folks like you telling us how to run the site.

Young people don't understand the world of gay people. They haven't been exposed to it. Some people like parent(some) for example don't want thier children exposed at a younger age. Younger kids will come here and see the headline "gay", and they will be curious.

Exactly!

I guess 13-year olds shouldn't know that gay people exist. After all, they're looking for new recruits and those who resist will be marked for death by the queen.

They probably don't need to know about black folks, Latinos, Jews, Arabic folks, Canadians (and their damn hockey), Brits, Asians.

So many dangerous minorities we must protect our youth from.

The sad thing is, I can't blame him, I blame his parents. Prejudice, hate, and to a certain degree, stupidity, is taught, not learned. Why can't we all just get along?

And when are you going to trim that damn signature? I e-mailed you once about it. No one cares what your top five is every time you post, and I'm tired of you wasting screen real estate and bandwidth. I asked you by e-mail to change it and you didn't. All I can say is WOW, Jeff. I think you're my new hero. ;) Also, why are all the str8 folk clicking on this post anyway? If they're so against the word 'gay' being uttered on the site, why are they taking part?! That's a head-scratcher to me.

I'm not against it at all, I'm just voicing my opinions.

It makes no difference to me if a person is gay or not. So please do not assume this.

I hate to see people put other's down for any reason. I spent alot of my adult life in the army which as everyone know's is not pro gay, one of my fellow ranger's was gay, I was one of 2 guy's who knew this and had to keep it secret, this poor man had to go along with some terrible comment's being said about gay people. I will tell you what he was one of the toughest SOB I ever knew but Sadly we lost him in somalia when his helicopter was shot down. Till this day most of his fellow ranger's don't know he's was gay and he had to take his secret to his grave. Not good enough in my mind for an AMERICAN HERO.
