My thoughts are that some people still think of Patriot's Day as a day to remember the fallen of 9/11....not a day to announce a new coaster.
Personally, I don't think it's a bad day, but, I am wondering if WOF has considered that viewpoint.

Actually, I would be interested in going to the announcement, however, is there any possibility that Patriot's Day would be viewed as a bad day?My thoughts are that some people still think of Patriot's Day as a day to remember the fallen of 9/11....not a day to announce a new coaster.

wow...........
I say go, have fun, you aren't going to be disrespectful to those who lost their life. I'd rather ride a coaster and eat fun food on a day that could potentially be upsetting if I just sit at home and watch the news all day.
