I think it's great how I got labeled after posting pro-drugs a few times. I'm willing to run with it, but the truth is, my old bong is probably in a box in the attic somewhere and I haven't even seen anything harder that 40 proof liquor in almost 2 years.
My cred just dropped 50 points. :(
(I still think the white stripe on the Patriot track is ugly.)

I still say Jack White and Jack Black should get together and form a band called "The Black and White Stripes"...mostly a prison band a la the Blues Brothers...It IS never too late to mend... :)
Then I can afford more Dockers. :)

Yup, it sure is ;) it's even uglier in person!
Maybe when it's all together it will somehow click, but in individual pieces I'm not digging it.
Mmmm candy. ;)

I don't mind the silver supports or the red & yellow track and IMHO the lift should have been silver, not red.
I think Patriot's paint scheme is very versatile. They could always rename it Sam's Club: The Ride, theme it with Girl Scouts selling cookies from card tables and sell cans of soda for a quarter.

PATRIOT DAY WEEKEND - SEPTEMBER 10 & 11, 2005
Saturday, September 10 & Sunday, September 11, 2005 In observance of Patriot Day 2005, Worlds of Fun remembers and honors those who perished in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. We will not forget the events of that terrible day and how Americans responded with heroism, selflessness, compassion, courage, and hope.
Join us September 10 & 11, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Worlds of Fun for a moment of honor for the victims of September 11, 2001.
The Kansas City Fire Department is on site 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Sunday, September 11, 2005 with a fire engine on display.
Worlds of Fun is accepting donations for the American Red Cross for the Hurricane Katrina disaster fund.
Get a sneek peek at what is new at Worlds of Fun for the 2006 season! It's BIG NEWS! Each guest receives a free promotional sticker while supplies last.
On the other hand, VF is making me absolutely NUTS with nothing to say about their 2006 attraction. There's pylons around...red flags next to some of the pylons (closer than ever to the railroad, might I add) and parts of the Falling Star were already on the ground this weekend. Arrrrgh!

The real million-dollar question in my opinion is whether VF will still have the train next season. The cones and stakes so close to the tracks made me wonder. The flags double my curiosity...

Nor did I get shots of other similar pylons only visible on board WT or the train...cuz they'd be a lil' difficult given the no-photos-from-any-ride policy.
So it could be a flat for '06 OR it could just as well be advance siting for something a lil' bigger in '07. We'll see, I guess.

'The 2006 PATRIOT will be one of B&M's largest inverted coasters in North America, but it will also include several unique track elements. One of them will be the "American Eagle" inversion which is basically a cross between a bowtie seen on Dragon Mountain and a Pretzel Knot as seen on Moonsault Scramble, two rare or nonexistant elements brought together into one. It will also include a vertical loop, two corkscrews, and other inversions.'
I can't find any pictures of Moonsault Scramble to really visualize this unique element they are talking about. I hope to god it's some kind of bowtie/batwing/pretzel loop element because cobra rolls are extremely overated these days. It's only appropriate that The Patriot bring back the batwing that the Orient Express took away!!
All answers should come out on Wednesday if this press release includes layout specs :)
