Reports from the park today indicate that flags have made their way out near the outer road that leads into the parking entrance.

And the weather doesn't get cold until November so this seems like more than an early jump on footers.

They are now working diligently on the casings for the footers. Man who thought that they would be moving at such a fast pace?

interesting pictures. The pic of the flag out by WOF Ave is perhaps my favorite. *** Edited 7/12/2005 4:59:39 AM UTC by SnakeEyes***

Isn't it? Why would a flag be that close to WoF Avenue? I would love to think that the coaster would get that close to the road - boy wouldn't that cause a bunch of rubber neckers. :)

Well I did forget to include in my post last month where a ride op told me a bit about this did also say it would go out near the road to make it extremely visible to the area. Dunno that it goes out that far or whatever... but a flag is out that close to the road, and that's cool :)

Work on the footers in full force at WOF now. Does anyone know if any of the track has left the Ohio B&M plant yet?

Oh I would imagine that they'll have quite a bit done. Didn't Hydra start vertical construction the second week of August last year?

As always, thanks for the updates and photos Swoosh!

Just wondering....is the Lore of the Vampire thing in the OE station still intact?

Fever I really enjoy the Simpsons. It's just a shame that I am starting to LOOK like Homer.

Yes they left everything intact for both Lore and Carnival. All the do is shut the doors after the season is over and voila the stuff is store for the year. :)

Like normal, when 2006 season passes go on sale. ;)

I bet it's a standup, those seem to be popular lately.

Haha, I know it's a little delayed, but that made me laugh so much.

Welcome back, red train, how was your ride?!
