Sorry Paula. :(
I meant to reference the coaster most of us are "expecting", given the clues/ pictures thus far.
It occurred to me that even if you folks are adding a coaster, it doesn't mean it has to go in the new area.
Just musing...

Yes, Dragonoffrost, that has been clearly established.

Just thinking aloud...(allowed?)...

DOES kinda make sense to put the new coaster - assuming there IS one ;) LOL, into the new section of the park, spreading the crowds and giving a *jump start* to the new themed area...wouldn't really make too much sense to have a new themed area and have just one or two flats in there.

Of course, Will has a knack for showing "uncommon sense"..:)

I agree it makes sense, no doubt. I'm not that dense. ;)
Just having a little trouble getting all the hints and clues to add up. I seriously think that the coaster a lot us think will be added is going into the new area. But "what if" came to mind...

You know what? Not everything is a hint...

Honestly.

I must admit several times being stunned by what has been perceived as a hint. (But not shocked enough to dash in and correct the misunderstanding, as you may have noticed.)

I gave an extra hint unintentionally in one of the HoliHints. Someone emailed me about it and pointed it out, but I haven't seen it scrutinized here.

It'll all make sense in a few weeks. And believe me, I'm going nearly as crazy as you (collectively), trying to think ahead to ask all the questions that will start appearing on the board the after of the 13th.

See? We all share in the suffering! :)

Yeah, yeah......I know. Can't help but dream, though.

Don't worry Robo, I am lost as well. ;-)

Paula can handle about anything as long as it's not mean spirited, personal, or she doen't have to ride it.

Paula, we all do THANK YOU GREATLY for all of your contributions and helping us have so much fun along the way. What are we going to do after the 13th? Can you start giving us HoliHints for '07?

Yeah, this is right up there with TTD and Hades for pre-annoucement/details fun. I already know that it is a The Gravity Group woodie and Paula is still managing to drive me nuts. :)

edit: LOL at the latest holiblog. I guess the puns aren't limited to this thread. I sure hope that Will does not lock it. :) *** Edited 6/23/2005 11:46:16 PM UTC by RavenTTD***

Hotel, picnic grove, wooden coaster and water slides all would (I mean wood) sound REALLY good in and around the ARBOR DAY section, dontcha think? *** Edited 6/24/2005 2:24:56 AM UTC by cycloneriders***

Paula,

Is the park doing well finacially? The reason I ask is that it seems that the park has been dropping a lot of money on capital expansions these past few years (especially since 1999) and this next one is the largest yet. Is the ROI there? I know that you guys have everything figured out, I was just curious.

Swoosh, Id say over 20 percent increases in attendance over at least the last three years is pretty good.

Considering the best CP and other big parks can get is between 2-5 percent with spikes for major additions.

High percentages are easier to get when you are dealing with smaller numbers, but it sounds like HW is doing just fine.

I honestly think that they are doing fine, it just seems to me that they are spending hand over fist and wondering where all that money is coming from.

I also agree with RavenTTD that if you have a small attendance base to being with, large increases are easier to make.
