Crazy talk about PKI... Major ride removal??

I could understand SOB. I love that ride, but I could see it leave.

But don't dare take away Vortex.

I hope they take out Scooby's Ghoster Coaster...that ride hurt my balls.

Most folks I talk to aon a regular basis use PCW for Wonderland and PCar for Carowland.

I think Congo Falls needs to be taken out! There's all you need to see as far as depreciated ridership is concerned. Besides, like most of the those boat rides the most popular part of the ride is standing on the bridge waiting to get blitzed by a tidal wave. For the past 10 years, (at least) CF has been a total walk-on, even on blistering hot days!

The Mole made mention to it in a way earlier when he mentioned the Action FX Theater. What a waste. It's been at least 4-5 seasons since they used the rightside theater on any regular basis. The Spongebob movie has got to go anyway. It's too bad the AFXT couldn't have been on the other side in HBL and set up more for the kiddies. I'm no NASCAR fan, but the AFXT's best days were when they played "Days Of Thunder".

But there is a nice plot of land back there that could liven that end of the park up again, and not necessarily with coasters. It seems to me that Canada's Wonderland has nearly as many major flats as they do major coasters. Why couldn't that happen for PKI too?

Can't WAIT to see PKI turn Vortex into a hypercoaster! As long as it gets those weird hybrid trains, it'd be SWEET! :)

I gotta echo Joe here, I came in just to say the same thing. The ride sucks, the capacity is a nightmare, and they need a better family coaster, as evidence by the fact that all the kid coasters there have long lines, but Scooby's line is the one that doesn't move for an hour, unlike the others.

Agreed. For some reason my friend and I decided to double up on that. I am 6'7" and he is 6'2". It was comical to us, but I think everyone in line was just annoyed. Thats about right. . . On a different note, it didn't hurt my balls as bad as SoB hurt my knees. I think my leg popped out of socket to get the lab bar down.

Men. Sheesh! This thread is hilarious! At least us girls don't care about specifics like you guys do. LOL! If a ride/coaster feels good then it rocks! If it doesn't then it won't do much good.

But if I were FORCED to pick a ride to go.......SOB. But all this speculation/debating is cracking me up. ;-)

I thought they should have taken the old Bat trains and placed them on Top Gun and removed the theming. Then, they could paint the track blood red with black supports so you can't see them at night.

Only men complain about that stuff, huh Tina? Ask a large-chested girlfriend how they feel about the *upper-torso* restraints on the Vek-flyers...thought so! ;)

I think they'll put a Starflyer (like Prater's) on top of the Eiffel Tower...I can dream, can't I? :)

They could put an XScream and Insanity up there, Bill. Maybe then we'd have a chance to Ride Insanity. Not quite as windy...as the flippin desert!

FYI Screamscape (whose info started this thead) now says that HB land is going (except Scooby Doo)and will be replaced by...

a bigger Nick area! Boo hiss.

Like thats a suprise. I'm more suprised PCar got the Nick treatment before PKI, which suposedly has the best kids area. Maybe it will be Scooby to go...

I like Clint's idea! How about an "X-Scream" and "Insanity" rides off of the EIffel Tower? :-D Yeah, I know. I know.
