Looks like Zoomerang will have 2-tone color scheme. *** Edited 3/12/2005 2:36:24 AM UTC by Godsentone***
"An Australian technician will accompany the coaster to Visionland and supervise the construction of the new steel coaster. He will remain at the park for several months after the ride is inaugurated." I found that interesting. It seems like Visionland could handle that by themselves.
I still think my entry name of Vulcan's Fury (named after the Roman god of the forge or fire for which Birmingham's steel and iron industry was well known) is a better name than Zoomerang. If you've ever driven through Birmingham, you've probably noticed the huge iron statue of Vulcan on top of Red Mountain originally built for the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. Anyway, I guess Visionland wanted to save that name for their hyper one day. ;-)

That piece of black track is used in the station. ONLY the track in the station will be black. Its not uncommon.
If you look in picture three you can clearly see a piece of curved black track to the left of the two curved yellow pieces and in picture five you can see a piece of the black track installed in the curve into the cobra roll.
If you can't stand the heights, get out of the line.
But what I would want to know, is WHY they would Half Paint the ride? Half Not re-Paint? I am pretty sure they will have a colour combination. Looks much better anyway.
As far as theming, I am not sure at this point. I wouldn't expect much in the way of elaborate theming.
Seems odd to have graphics of a coaster, on a coaster. Did the 11 year old get to design the graphics too? ;)
Is $5 million not high for a used 17 year old boomerang? The locals will probably really dig it. Hopefully it'll lead to bigger and better things for VL in the future.
