...and if you click the North button 3 times, you can see the huge water filled quarry visible from the top of the Space Shot.
Yeah I know it's there. It is huge like a lake. You could fit almost 10 Visionlands in that sucker.
What do you think about all that room for expansion, thrillerman?

Looks great! I hope they have a very successful and profitable season this year. I believe if they keep up what they've started, the park is going to grow into those areas slowly but surely over the coming years.
Yeah, I estimated 10-15 years, we will start seeing the rides while driving along I-20/59 which will be sweet and people will stop and say "I didn't know this was here!"

Hey speaking of speculation, I suggest that since we got Demon from Wonderland, why not just clean house and grab that major woodie and that family woodie, that way, we will have some good 'wood and we can just continue to add steel coasters!!!Look at what is left:
Sell them to VL Paul H., lol!
Go ahead. Won't do you much good. The rides were in a bad shape as it was when the park closed. The Kiddie closed a couple of years before the park. And was in a real bad rusted/ warped shape when the park closed. And Bush Beast, sure it was a great ride. But in terms of Maintenence, the rides were not maintained properly. So Bush Beast has gone down the drain (or will be soon) unless a local member gets his way and saves it. And I say good luck to him too.
BTW, post some new Zoomerang pics man, I want to see some of the theming!!!
My Usual contact has gone all silent.

If anyone wants to start up a new park in Australia (Preferably Canberra) and has money, and I mean money, contact me. I would be intrested in going in a partneship, and to buy back Demon, I mean Zoomerang.
You can't have it back now!!! Build another one. LOL!!! Aren't you coming to the States when Zoomerang opens?

But if I ever do go over to the states, I would definatly visit my Demon.
New update now online. Pretty impressed with how long construction has taken.

The length of time is probably due to the scenery that they will heavily include for this attraction as rumored. They will add a retail shop and are debating on whether to add a photo shop.

I am saying that construction has gone fast. I am imressed.
Oh ok I misunderstood you. I would prefer them to take their time on this coaster so that they can get it running smooth and the theming looks good and not just throwed together to meet a deadline.
I would, but we all know where I am located.
Visionland's new Splash-irific log ride needs a name. After the successful naming contest for the new steel coaster, Zoomerang, the park decided to hold another contest with the new flume. The contest is now open and will last until May 18, 2005. The winner will be announced on May 20, 2005 and will receive 4 Platinum season passes.
The first contest recieved over 6500 entries, and the winning name was submitted by Nate Bailey of Florence, Alabama, an 11-year-old boy who dreams of becoming a roller coaster engineer.
Visit http://www.visionland.com for more info regarding the park.

North America?
South America?
Europe?
Africa? If the log flume ride is African named, what else?
Asia?
Australia? Besides Zoomerang, what else?
Antarctica?
