I have no clue what the park would do if it had " a lot" of room. I can picture a water park on the other side of the lake. It would look really nice over there by itself, but extending the amusement park that way would be nice too.
Bottom Line: I have no idea what to expect.

Ask yourself what the most congested part of the park is, then answer my previous question. There's another big surprise on the way... and it has nothing to do with attractions.
Hmmm...Bigger and Better Bathrooms w/showers!!!!!! FINALLY!
I don't think it would be good to move Pepsie Plunge. It would seem MUCH MUCH easier to rebuild a new one somewhere than move it. Though, a flume ride would fit in very nice as mentioned many times before over in the former Wild Life area. I see them removing it before moving it. But if it did get move, I see it going in Dolphin Cove area.

SF built three large coasters in the winter of '99-'00 and all three were ready to go on opening day. If my memory serves me correctly, BKF didn't go vertical until early January. To add on to what has already been stated, with a large chunk of the former Wild Life side fenced off, who knows what's been going on over there. We can't see anything from the north side or even Sky Scraper.
I've heard that the former Dolphin Harbor has already been demolished and the Starcastle Voyage kids ride that was located by the waterski stadium has been moved to the parking lot.

My point is to think more along the lines of "different" than "new."

How the above translates into "The Announcement You've Been Waiting For" though is beyond me.
