For the third year in a row, Cincinnati finished next to last on Forbes.com's list of the 40 Best Cities for Singles, ahead only of Pittsburgh. The Denver-Boulder area topped the list.

To compile the overall ranking, Forbes.com also took into account each city's number of singles, job growth, cost of living alone, nightlife, culture and "coolness," measured by the number of people in creative jobs.

Cincinnati ranked in the bottom 10 in all categories except for the cost of living single (19) and the number of singles (26). But 54 percent of those who voted for Cincinnati in an online poll said it was a good place for singles, which saved the city from falling back to the No. 40 spot it occupied in 2001, Forbes.com staff writer Davide Dukcevich says.

Nah... They could never top WKRP. Which has never made it to DVD apparently because of licensing rights and all of the snippets of pop songs on the show.

Wow, that's a shame. I remember that being a hilarious show. WKRP in Cincinnati.... The theme can still get stuck in my head. Even if it's just the end of the tune.

You know, I'm going to have to take a look at that Forbes article and see WTF they're talking about, because I don't consider Pittsburgh to be a bad place to live as a single, at all. Granted, I'm not the out-smoking-crack-all-night-looking-to-get-some type, but still, I have no complaints about my social life. Of course, I also suspect Forbes just doesn't know what they're talking about anyway, and has a far different concept of what's "needed" than I or my friends do...

Unfortunately, it's definite that I will NOT be at BeastBuzz this weekend. Hope everyone has a great time.

If you read my post, I first said, "Jeffrey Siebert has spoken", and then I copied and pasted the e-mail he sent me. The magic number being 250 thing is true, that's what the park is going to do according to Jeffrey Siebert, I just wanted to give everybody a heads up about it. Thanks for shooting me down guys!
