So the deadline for mail in registration is this coming Friday. Does that mean postmarked OR that you have to have it in your hand by Friday Jeff?

I survived a Japanese typhoon and the Togo flat ride of death!!!!!!

It needs to be in my hands. And please don't send anything that requires a signature. I'm not going to sit around that day waiting for packages to sign for.

From what I gather, Beast morning walkback is basically an escorted walk to the Beast to get some quick laps on it right when the park opens.

The behind-the-scene's thing is after lunch.

Hey Jeff, I have a few questions which could apply to others so I will ask them here.

1. I recently joined the club don’t have a number or card yet, what should I put down?

2. We have tickets for PKI which were not used yet this year, is it possible to use them for the event instead of paying the extra for a ticket? I know some parks frown on this for events.

Thanks

Here's my situation:

Probably 4, possibly 5 of us will hopefully be there the day of. We are not doing the pre-registration because of the distance and a couple of them are still unsure if they will be able to go. Its only an extra dollar for much less of a hassle for all of us. If all goes well, and the weather is predicted to be decent as of the Wednesday before the event, we will make the drive down on Friday.

This leads me to my question: How does the on-site registration work? Since the group is meeting at about 9:30 for the Beast walkback, I assume there will be some sort of table (maybe just at the ticket window) where we sign up for the event at like 9:00? Please explain this to me.

Any my follow up: why wouldn't all the people that come to the park that day just go to the on-site registration place and sign up??

Thanks in advance,

Kev

Well, actually, if you think about it, would you just sign up for something when you didn't know what it was at a park?

I'd imagine people probably won't worry about it, or wont' understand it, but thats just my opinion:)

good question, though.

I was also wondering what to put for screen name and club memeber #, because I'm not in the memebership. I just use the forums.

Thanks

The daily Beast walkback meets at 9:30am at the flags to the right of the fountains. This is a escorted trip to the Beast by somebody in PR or GR (Public/Guest Relations). You walk back and wait for 10am. You enjoy the first rides and than additonal rides untill the general public makes its way back. (Than usually its a dash to scooters.)

A backstage Beast walkback is alot bigger, longer, and harder than a Son of Beast. Expect aslong as 1 hour and 30 minutes depending on questions and average group speed.

Also on the 26, expect quite a few suprises...:)

As I said, if everyone decided to register on-site, we wouldn't know how much food to make and then you'd get half a burger and four potato chips.

If you don't have your club card yet, write-in that you're a new member and we'll look you up.

I should have the itinerary early next week, and I'll post it here. You'll get a hard copy at the event that (thankfully) is being printed by the park (one less thing I, er, I mean, Stephanie does).

I was referring to all the general park patrons, not just the people who are going to attend the event. But hey, if thats all I got to eat, that'd be fine with me...I need to lose weight so I can fit in those rides at Cedar Point anyways! =)

I assume there will be something about the on-site registration once you release the schedule? If not, please inform us how that will work.

Thanks again,
Kev
