A couple Beast Buzz Questions....

I just found out my dad has a 2 man tent, and am thinking about camping(as opposed to sleeping in the car...:)). Anybody stayed at PKI's campground that can give me any info?

Haven't stayed in THAT campground but I hear great things about it, plus you can just walk to the park.

Hey, and I could park my car and not have to pay the extra fee to park at the park.....This is looking up:)!

Heck, and If I take some groceries with me, I'd get fed @ PKI for lunch, and eat dinner at my tent... *** Edited 6/10/2004 2:57:03 AM UTC by TeknoScorpion***

Just don't park it across the street at the Showcase Cinemas like some people do, or the little shopping plaza to the right of the park when you get off the exit. I have heard they will tow your car faster than the shopping center across from Geauga Lake. ;-)

I'd just park my car at my site....wouldn't I?:)

But of course. :-D

I am really looking forward to this event. My wife, son, and me will be attending. I already dropped my registration in the mail this morning with my Coasterbuzz club registration form.

We already booked our hotel, and are ready for our 1st trip to PKI. I have been trying to get there for several years, but something always popped up. We figured going when there is ERT will really make it worth our time.

I am looking forward to meeting a lot of the buzzers.

Son, you say???? And will you be loaning him out for all us childless Buzzers that want a ride on Taxi Jam?;)
Yeah I am sure that he'd take a spin on Taxi Jam with you, but he is probably too big to ride being 12 years old, and almost 5 ft. ;)
Dang!....on to the next parents going;)

^That's exactly why my kids aren't coming ;)

I just noticed something (which is why I originally came back to this thread):

It looks as if I will score coaster credit #200 at BeastBuzz.

...yeah, I knew you would all care.

Sigh.

I'd have paid you, too, gonch;) just to rent the kiddies...

Hmmm, strange. I rode the Taxi Jams and PKI, Carowinds, and PKD by myself.

Must be my height and youthful behavior. ;-)

I still would love to go to Beast Buzz, but I would have to pay the $20 at the park. If anyone could help me here, I will be eternally grateful.

They have nice campsites and OK bathroom facilities, plus there is a tram that runs to the park and back all day.

My girlfriend and I purchased a 24' camper this past winter and will be making our second camping coaster trip of the year to BeastBuzz. (Timberfest will be the first)

The Fairfield Inn in Sharonville still has rooms for $69. It's only a few minutes away. They don't have pancakes, but they've got great waffles.

I like to ride woodies.

Just make sure not to get the campsite next to the one leaky water main at PKI's campground....one of our neighbors got FLOODED out, LOL.

Jeff Siebert made sure that everything turned out for the best though, he even figured out that we could build a log flume with all the rushing water and the surrounding woods...;) Seriously though, good campground...perhaps not at HW's level, but good nonetheless...

bill, got on TWO of the three TJs....only PKD's has eluded me thus far...and one of our crew even managed to get THAT one...;)

where is the Taxi Jam ERT? (just once for the credit?) I am so pitiful.

Guess who's back? Back Again? James K's back. Tell a friend.

That is where I will be too. I got my room for 28.00 + fees on priceline though. Seems like a nice place.

Thanks DragonRider. I am going to see if I can priceline it also & just cancel my original reservation.

I like to ride woodies.
