Nice feature. I only wish the thumbnails were able to be enlarged. A webcam would be even better!

Thats Nice. I'm sure once the park Closes for the season that they'll start doing Weekly Updates.

Maybe they'll put some Layout Pics on as well.

I'm going to DW Next week, I'll try take some some pics on the Train, during the 5 second period it passes the site.

Focus One Research (who does the surveys for HFE) sent me an email today about Dollywood's new coaster.

See it here.

I thought they had already chose the name of the coaster as Thunderhead. Thats the one I chose on the survey since the others were stupid except for Thunderhead and Wildfire. I didn't choose Wildfire for obvious reasons...their smooching off of SDC.

Gosh, I hope they leave it Thunderhead. That name is so unique to Coasters, and there are already so many Wildcats out there. And then of course the Wildcat at Celebration City.

And then, if they choose Wildfire, we would have to deal with the questions like "Is the Wildfire at Dollywood a clone of the one at SDC?" or "Is Wildfire a Wooden or a Steel coaster?"

Hopefully everyone will choose Thunderhead.

I chose Thunderhead. It sounds more original than any of the other names. Plus, it fits in with the theme of Thunderhead Gap the best.

They have people walking around DW getting email addresses. I assume that they do the same thing at SDC, and CC since they have done similar surveys recently.

Don't feel bad about it. I gave them my email address at DW's Grand Opening in April and have just got my first survey today.

I'm so glad that this park is finally getting wood. GCI will do a fine job with this ride I'm sure. The whole concept works really well, and the ride will blend into the park perrrrrrrrrfectly.

Wood - anything else is an imitation

On the survey, they list the name as "The Thunderhead." Let's hope that they drop the "The." Hopefully it was just the common stupid mistake of throwing the word "the" in front of every coaster name.

I've noticed that. The Dueling Dragons, The mamba... I agree though, just plain Thunderhead is a great name.

Thunderhead is a unique name... just very very strange.
Seriously though, unique or not, I don't really like the name. I think just about any of those names would be better than Thunderhead.

It IS as bad as you think, and they ARE out to get you.
