Seasonal Affective Disorder. It's when you get depressed by the winter, apparently from the shorter days and less sunlight.

Saturday was easily a 30,000+ day for them, cars to the toll booths.

We went over Saturday evening. I don't know - maybe a lot of guests had cleared out by then - but I actually remarked as we drove in on how I thought there'd be more cars. The section of the parking lot near the Chausee was empty. I had expected that, for a Saturday in July, cars would be to that back fence.

Also, I fully expected to have trouble parking in the front of the main lot. For the time of day and time of year, it is usually very hard to get a spot there. But not only was it easy to find openings, we found a spot just about parallel to the main gate. But that's just one man's observation. I don't have attendance figures. The park certainly wasn't empty :)

The weather certainly has not helped matters for Cedar Point (or any other Ohio park, for that matter), Jeff. That, in combination with the rumor mill, may have spelled a disappointing first half for the park.

Honestly Jeff, the main reason I bailed on the Northeast at such a young age was that I could no longer handle the October-April stretch of *sunlessness*....the accepted opinion that SAD mainly affects females is BUNK. If I'm leaving FL and staying in the states, it's SoCal all the way...

bill, yet to ride TTD, but when I do (next year), it WILL be a front ride...;)
